Went with the Apple brand as other brands I saw online didn’t support 4K video. But I threw in my 128 gb SD card from my drone and I was able to transfer my videos to my phone with this. It’s already worth it.

I have heard other reviews of non-Apple products damaging their picture cards. Not worth the small savings of risking irreplicable photos.

Haven’t used a stopwatch but definitely seems faster then the previous model. For my use, it is great for grabbing a few RAW files off my camera’s memory card for processing on iPhone or iPad Pro in order to quickly get out for a client preview or for social media posts.

This is a 'just do it'. Makes it so easy to get images into your Apple device and then to iCloud, etc. We use it to get drone pictures onto our Apple devices. Great buy!

works great with my ipad needed to pull up some things form my sd card and this was the best way to make it happen

I bought this SD card reader to transfer photos from my camera and so far it hasn't disappoint me. It's fast and works well on my iPad Pro. It's pricey but faster than other products I have. I don't know if this will download music, video, etc. At this time I haven't tried it except photos and have no issue wiht that particular. If you travel and have to upload photos on your iPad for editing, then you need this. There you have it, at last a media player that works in uploading photos.

I can insert memory card from my dlsr camera and download those huge mega pixels photos onto my phone very quickly. Then from my phone store them in the cloud to access them from my computer. It works so much faster than running a USB from my desktop to my camera

I use this with and iPhone and iPad as my on-the-go photo transfer solution. I use it to import raw images to the photo app, where I can then transfer to Lightroom mobile. This means I do not have to bring a laptop with me when I shoot photos, and can immediately begin editing photos on location. I wish I could import directly to Lightroom with this, but importing to photos app first does not slow me down too much.

With iOS13 with the new files and folders features, it is much simpler now to backup content On SDcard using this cable. Especially large video files to free up space on the iphone or iPad. I am using the save to files feature to save to folders.
