This process was new to me but after reading several reviews I felt confident using the reader; the pictures transferred seamlessly.

transfer between canon and ipad easy

I can use this item to transfer the clips to my ipad and edit on imovie. One caveat it seems to work specifically with the higher end sd cards, the faster ones.

Get you a high end SD card to use with it
