    I'm sure it works exactly as intended, but when I got it home I realized it wasn't a charging adapter for the older style iphone connectors (yes that old), but a card reader that I have no need for. I'll have to return and exchange it.

    This item seems as though it would take pictures off of my iPhone but it only uploads them; which is great if I want to use my Nikon and them post right away but generally not what I bought it for. Best Buy sells a sansdisk flash drive for only a few dollars more that can put pictures on AND take them off.
