I purchased this dongle in order to in order to expand my is my memory capacity for the new for the new ipad that I purchased. I vaguely remembered reading a cnet article that these things these things could share but not save data from ipads. Upon asking a blue shirt if it could both save and transfer they said "absoloutley " Sorry, he was wrong. They can be used to transfer data but not save from iphones or ipads.

The device works however I would give it 5 Stars if you could review the photos in a larger icon and individually delete them from the card instead of having to do them all or once.

Bought this adapter prior to the advent of lightning adapters and now had to buy this to transfer photos. It works as advertised, but don't expect it to transfer photos off your phone with it.

I bought this for check in my trail camera out in the woods makes it so much easier for me than looking at a tiny camera lens

Typical apple dongle, it works but shouldn't need to exist,

I needed to find a way to connect my camera sd card with my surface pro. This was recommended by the salesman. When I got home I found it did not connect to my tablet and returned it.

This accessory is great for UPLOADING pics TO your iPhone but does not let you DOWNLOAD pics FROM your iPhone in order to put them on your computer... a little disappointing for the money.

I have been having issue where my iPad has not been reading my memory cards. I had to delete my files app and reinstall it. This fixed the issue so far.

even though I have cards that fit my reader, not all cards are able to be read. even if a cards has been formatted, it doesn't mean I can view the card using my phone. This is a bummer.

I was told that I could store files from an iPad to cards in this device. Actually I can only transfer files from the card to the iPad not the other way around.

Did not work with my ipad very well and did not read videos. That is the main reason I wanted it to read SD cars from trail cameras.

I recently purchased my first iPad with extra storage for editing of my photos. I am now able to upload my photos on site rather than having to wait and upload to laptop or computer then transfer to iPad. Well worth it and would definitely recommend to everyone!!!! Love it so much!!!!

Don’t recommend using this if you have to transfer a large amount of data especially pictures because it is so slow.

Works well, but you can get the same one way cheaper through another brand. I use mine for trail cams so worth having one.

I thought it would be faster than to see on my phone but sd card to computer was the same

This is a little known must have for photographers. It allows you to quickly transfer pictures from your camera SD card to your Apple device if you do not have wireless capabilities. It works very fast at transferring whether JPG or RAW pictures to an iPhone or iPad.

I wasn’t impressed with this item. Did not download from all my sizes of SD cards. Could be something I’m doing.

not easy enough for a husband to figure out while downloader deer pictures of game camera!

Works fine with my iPhone but will not connect to my iPad mini, which it is supposed to do. I am taking to a Geek Squad associate and will update.

Apparently I’m not technically knowledgeable to use this. Still can’t download pics from my phone
