Product is useless for the iPad as the connector only works with a iPhone. And so far, I have been unable to get my iPhone pictures to download at all. It simply does not work. Save your money and buy something else.

I'm giving this a 2 star review because I the only reason I purchased this was for the iphone. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with iphone but instead with ipad. I haven't tried it on the ipad yet.

can transfer my files on the go without having to wait. This is a good look. def recommend to anyone with an ipad

Transfer rate from the adapter to the iPhone XR was lightning fast. On the phone my pictures can be viewed easily.

I’m only giving a 4/5 because the device did not automatically showed up when connected, but it is great otherwise

this will be the first time ever that a purchase from Best Buy failed twice...and i confirmed both failures with the in store CellPhone tech....and shocked that Apple has not figured this failure to perform

This Reader has been very helpful with transferring data from our gopro to our Ipad for editing.

Disappointed in Apple. IPad (9.7” not iPad Pro) would not preview high-res jpg from SD card. Must import images to iPad to see hi-res. Not worth it for photography. Returned iPad & card reader.

It a hard way to get around to uploading my pictures to my iPad 4. I was hoping I would have just one reader to plug into my iPad4 so I can insert my sand disc. Now I have to use my camera cord and connect this reader to it and read it from the camera. Not very happy with this product. The first reader that I purchased was an apple product , I inserted it into the iPad , but it said it was not compatible with my iPad4 ??? I maybe returning this product. I'm going to go directly to an Apple Store. What a waste of $25.00. The employees really were not that interested in solving the issue.

I tried to get pictures and/or videos from my iPhone 8 and my iPad Pro and this device did not work on either one. I returned it for a refund. I had read all the reviews that said that it didn't work but I thought some of their problems might have been because their cable was an older version. I even tried the tricks that others suggested but to no avail. It just wouldn't see the pictures or videos on the SD card under the DCIM folder.

I wish I could give a good review. I used one similar to this, and in the description it said it works with iPads and iPhones. However it is only for iPads. Sadly I missed the return date of 2 weeks :(

The SS card reader does what it should, but I expected to be able to see pics without downloading. Filled my camera with unwanted pictures

It works good. Built heavier then the one I have been getting from Walmart.

I purchased this to get videos shot on a microSD card onto my iPhone. The videos were recorded on a Hubsan drone. Apple does not recognize the video. After researching on apple forums I found out that apple will not recognize some videos to try to prevent pirating. You have to put the video on your computer, rename the file so apple thinks it came off of a camera such as the Panasonic brand and then try to load that file onto your phone. I was trying to skip loading it onto my computer first. This item was returned immediately
