This adapter works perfectly. I've had it for almost 6 months now and have had no issues at all. Very easy to use and I'm very happy with it.

I bought this accessory so that I could move photos from my DSLR (no wifi) onto my iPad for editing or sharing. In the past, if I were on vacation or out doing something, I had no way to get the photos off my SD card, and I had to wait until I got home to my computer. With this device, I can very easily import the photos straight to my iPhone or iPad. There is no setup. You literally just plug it into your iOS device, it automatically opens the photos app, you select the photos/videos you want to import, and it's done. I recommend this completely!

Awesome SD reader for my iPhone and iPad. Works every time! If you are having any issues with your photos or videos from showing up on your photo app, try looking it up with your files app. The incompatible file formats will show up there every time. Great accessory for your devices! I bought them for the photographers in my family and they love it. Had my original for 3 years now and it still works great.

Truly: Plug end into iPad, plug SD Card from your camera into adapter: Photos transfer to iPad. I bought "open Box" assuming someone made a mistake and bought the wrong item. Right. It works perfectly, Must remove SD from camera each time to view Picture or Pictures and select pics to keep. I DO NOT remove pics from SD card until they have been backed up on computer--but that is MY workflow, not necessarily yours. Basically, I want to quickly view or show pics from iPad, then later post process them on my computer more completely.

The lightning to SD connector allows me to take high quality pictures with my mirrorless camera system and the load the file to my iPad for editing. This is a must have for traveling light and still getting photography work done.

Found this to be easy to use...well made item and perfect for my use. No problems what so ever with it!

I have a few SD cards with pictures and videos on them that I wanted to see. I was having the problem of going to my photos app and hitting import but nothing would come up. As some others mentioned here, I tried going on my Files app and there they were. Problem solved! This served its purpose and I recommend if you want to view and possibly share files that are on an SD card.

I guess you may consider me to be somewhat of an Apple fan boy but Apple builds quality stuff I love the fact that they test everything to make sure it’s compatible before they put the rubber stamp on it I had a knock off card readers at some time forgive me fits so I was happy to acquire this new one that I could hook in to also my phone and iPad and has never failed transferring pictures from the memory card

Great piece to have with a newer iPad. If you own an iPad with a Lightning connector port and a none wi-fi digital camera you should have this accessory. This cable connects to your iPad, insert your SD media card and import all your photos right into your iPad . At the moment I’m traveling, importing my photos at night, and then emailing, messaging, or airdroping them out from my iPad. This gives you a photo backup as well.

Exactly what was needed. Simply can hook in a SD Card and download your pictures straight to the card from your phone and also can upload pictures from the SD Card to your phone as well. It works flawlessly and no extra steps needed, just plug in and do what is needed. Saved countless hours of upload times.

I like this product because it’s small to take traveling,and I was surprised how well it works,and easy to understand.

I purchased this for use while out of town on vacation. I wanted to take photos from my Canon camera that produces better quality photos than my iPhone and post them to Facebook each day while I was away rather than having to wait until I return and have access to a computer to pop the SD card into. I didn't want to take my laptop along with me. This allowed me to easily import the photos to my photo gallery on my iPhone and post to Facebook while I was away completely bypassing the use of a computer.

Was able to drive back from Yosemite and have shots edited, from the raw files, uploaded to social media, all before getting back home. All without having to worry about cataloging, juggling multiple programs, and having to break out a cintiq at home. Sure, all those things are probably going to happen, but for a quick edit I was extremely satisfied with.... you can't beat it. SD read speed was incredible. D810 raw files are a nightmare to work with, and this helped get the job done without a computer.
