    Ours has been an all-Apple household for decades, and this is by far the most powerful computer we have owned. It suffers from two serious defects, however. First, it came with "Ventura" operating system pre-installed--one generation removed from "Sonoma" as I write. This makes migrating files an incredible pain, as both old and new macs must have the same system. Second, it comes with 512 GB, on pretty much a take it or leave it basis. How do you migrate a 2-terabyte Intel Mac to a 512 GB machine? I am still learning the answer to that one. Apple is famous for thoughtful design, and at one time the reputation was deserved. They are getting complacent.

    I wish I could give you a more intense review. However the computer and monitor are still in the box because I am in NY Presbyterian Hospital for the past 27 days When I go home and set everything up I’ll give you a better review

    Love the mac studio - fast speeds and amazing performance. Unfortunately, 512 GB SSD is not nearly enough space for my needs, but will handingly serve most people well.

    Everything is amazing… except… I didn’t know about how the Mac Studios are known to have trouble with WiFi connections. It’s super slow sadly and I have fiber with 400 MBps. If WiFi worked better it would be an easy 5/5.
