It is not the most powerful MacBook line but its small portable size with Retina display is what make me to decide to go with this model. USB-C is great but I think Apple should include some basic adaptors in this price package. Most of us who purchased this MacBook also have to purchase an USB-C to USB adaptor otherwise you cannot connect to any existing external USB devices.

I finally bought this after eye balling for months now, and its everything i expected it to be!!! its so light and i love the keyboard, I just love Apple products, i can take this anywhere!

This laptop is awesome. It weighs next to nothing, doesn't get hot, and boots up in seconds. It's been able to handle everything I've thrown at it.

I've been a long-time Apple fan and have had every laptop they've made in 10 years. This one is a game changer. We're at the point where ports are no longer necessary and the thin and light can be taken to a new level. Apple does this well. This computer is everything I wanted in a computer. If I could change one thing, I'd put a little better processor in it, but that's really a limitation of the current technology vs size.

As a current user of retina MBP, I'm pleasantly surprised by this machine. Initially, I was a little apprehensive about the lack of ports and underpowered core M processor, but, those issues aren't problems. This is going to be my daily driver now, might just sell the MBP or give it to a relative. Great little machine with perfect size and portability.

Is it very compact and sleek Battery life not to good I was using Mac air battery life was better Also u have to buy Usb C connector before u could attach any device to it On the whole look wise very cool.

I work in the IT field and have worked with many different Apple computers over the years. For portability this one wins. I've always been a fan of the MacBook Pro line with the 13" screen and although this screen is smaller I don't miss the old one. Having only the USB-C port hasn't hindered me so far and I find myself going wireless for more these days.

The Apple Mac Book was exactly what I was looking for in a laptop. First: It is highly portable. It does not add any unneccisary weight to my briefcase. Second: It's attractive. Not only is the gold case attractive, but the retna screen's clarity is also beautiful. Third: It's highly responsive. I feel like this computer runs very smoothly and is highly responsive to my demands.. Almost too responsive at times when I switch back to it after using the dell computers at my work. The only down side truly is the lack of a USB port.

I used to have a slow outdated laptop and decided it was way past due for an upgrade. After shopping around I found this laptop to be the most fitting for my needs. As a student working full time it goes with me everywhere and very easily I might add. It's slim design and wonderful fast software made this purchase well worth the money. I love it!

I've never really liked any of apple's products but for some reason this new macbook feels great. I was skeptical at first because of the lower power CPU (Intel Core M) but it turns out not to be an issue especially with OS X on the macbook. Keeps it fluid and smooth no matter what is going on in the software. The one USB C port doesn't really bother me because everything I do is on Google's Cloud and Drive servers. Plus, Battery lasts a long time if you use Safari.

I cant say enough about this device. It is exactly what I wanted. If you are looking for a portable device with an amazing screen, great battery life, and a decent processor...this is the Mac for you. Yes, it is running a Core M processor, but for everyday use it is FANTASTIC!!!

This Macbook exceeded my expectations and was worth the wait. I don't know how it could be smaller or lighter. The screen is razor sharp, brilliant color and everything looks good. The sound quality is amazing for the tiny speakers built in. The build quality is exceptional. I would buy it again without hesitation.

My daughter loves the display and the fact that the battery lasts a long time. The sleek rose gold casing is beautiful and it is so light/slim that it is easy to carry around.

I am so in love with my MacBook. Not only is it small and light weight but it is absolutely beautiful. The only thing I do not like about it is the fact that there is only one port on the computer which is why I am giving it 4 starts.

Super easy to use and just a pinch bigger than an iPad with lap top capibilitty I wish I would have got one sooner. Keep in mind you need an adaoptor for everything else.

I believe that it has all the necessary components that a laptop should have:speed, easy access, nice screen resolution and light weight

I was looking for a gift for my daughter and got this macbook, which she loves because it is light and fast and has all the benefits of Apple in a well-designed product.

The display is hi-quality. The size and weight of the MacBook is exactly what I was looking to buy. The price is a little high, but it is Apple and you expect high prices.

This is a great laptop - the speed is fast, it's responsive, quick, and battery life is long. I don't run many programs locally - I use it to access Google and surf the web, etc and it works like a charm.

Absolutely sleek. Love the keyboard which I think is the best part about it. It is super light which is another great thing about it. It does not have touchscreen which is something I did with Dell XPS but I don't miss it much... Don't have to clean my screen as often if anything. Performance is great if I am only working on web with couple of open apps. I have tried running a few CPU intensive apps (movie or photo editing) and I did see some performance drop. Overall, I would recommend it!
