it is so beautiful, light and thin, the keyboard is easy to get used to, and the retina display rocks.

It's lightweight and compact, which means you can bring it everywhere! It's functionality is up to par with previous MacBooks, if not better.

I've had few macs and this one I would say is the best. Very light small enough to comfortably carry around but big enough to to work with

I was hesitant to go with a laptop with the M processor after reading the reviews with the Window's machines. This works great with very nice graphics, lightweight, portable, great battery life and the best OS around. I recommend purchasing a USB C adapter. The only downfall is the one port, but this can be overcome by purchasing the dongle adapter.

I love it as a uber, left, and stay at home mom. Best Buy is the best store to purchase a MacBook at a lower cost and high end for college student and start a small business.

slim and perfect for travel. only drawback is you need to purchase adapters for a usb port, or any port for that matter. for the price they should be included with the computer.

Unless you're a graphic artist, there's really no need to buy a Macbook any more expensive than this. I got it on sale for $999.99, but even at its regular price it's worth purchase because of the new retina screen that comes standard. It has, BY FAR, the best picture of any laptop. In fact, I'm typing this review on it outside in the sun and it's not washed out. Highly recommended, especially if you get it on sale.

Apple makes great products and this one is beautiful. Very thin and still comfortable to type.

The design is amazing, it is really easy to take with one hand and you don't need to take the charger with you if you just go to class for half of the day.

This is awesome! So thin and light. Slurps only powerful. I was dreading the "slower processor but never once complained about speed!

This is my first MacBook it was frustrating to try to figure out the os system at first but once I learned the basics it was amazing it is super light and thin so you can carry anywhere and not to mention the gold color is beautiful :) I love this new MacBook :)

Clarity of the retina screen combined with the size and weight make for a great product!

Excellent new product. Unbelievably thin and light. Very easy to get started. I'm sure the lack of ports will be something we don't even remember in a year or two, the same way that CD-ROM drives have gone extinct. I do wish the apple on the outer shell still lit up like it does on my old MB Air. Screen resolution is excellent but I wonder if the next gen will have a touch screen. All in all an excellent purchase. Although a bit pricey, it's competitively priced with similarly sized products like the Surface and Yoga 3.

Excellent, easy to use. Compact and light, for a college student who is always on the go.

Gorgeous display, gorgeous device! And I do not find the lack of ports an issue at all. A simple adaptor solves that. I honestly love everything about this 12" model. The screen is perfection, the keyboard is great (despite what others might suggest) and the computer feels very well built. It's super fast and as light as a iPad Air.

The style and the weight are awesome. It is my first MacBook , and I really like working with it. The battery life is great too.

This is my second MacBook which I've purchased. My first model was a 2008 MB and it still runs good, though the technology is old so I got this to replace it. It's a great notebook for typing, web browsing and email. It's light and thin like an iPad. You'll be happy to purchase this MacBook.
