Only complaint is the intrinsic "Apple tax" because there are no current items that I own that would work with this laptop I considered the MacBook Air instead, but this was a nicer package and on sale it just made more sense even though I needed some dongles.

its easy to carry and easy to use! It is so fast even when I have multiple windows open.

This laptop replaced 11"MacBook air from 2011. 1" larger and with newest Apple technology would not disappoint anyone. I continue to use Apple Products due to lack of viruses, ease of use and bullet proof stability. Also enjoy integration of Macs and iphone.

Best Apple computer yet! This Mac is built crazy good! So light and thin! I loved it but had to return it due to its high price tag and needed the money for something else. Will probably buy again in the future.

I like the size, weight and appearance as well as the force-touch keypad. It is perfect for my purposes which is to use at home and occasional take with. I did not find the keypad difficult to get used to.

Love the new keyboard. Probably my favorite part. I was using the 15 inch macbook so the screen size has taken some time to get used to. I got the one with the smaller memory and I do have a lot of wait time to load a page. Thinking about exchanging for the one with the larger memory.

brilliant looks. nice all day battery. sleek design. others may not like the idea of only one usb-c port, but think about this, everything is going to wireless nowadays, using wifi, bluetooth etc.

So far the macbook seems to be working well and is light. It needs a USB though.

A ridiculously thin workhorse, although still requires a ton of accessories. The keyboard, of course, needs getting used to. The special Intel Core M processor makes it run quite efficiently, optimizing its resources to the full, even with modest processing power. Personally, a few inches larger would make it the (almost) perfect laptop for everyday computing. And yes, very very light!

so I bought this for my wife (christmas present) I was very worried about the missing usb ports or the lack of a powerful processor (she's a computer programmer), but she don't even notice I guess apple was right about iCloud and stuff like that.

Overall, it fulfills all of my needs. The only two problems are the price and the absence of usb (and other) ports.

Awesome 12" screen, gorgeous color Gold but i would recommend purchasing a cover so u won't scratch the surface. Does everything needed for my small business.

Great laptop except only thing I didn't like that Apple did with the new USB-C that if you are uploading something and your laptop is running out of battery you can't charge and upload at the same time because of that single port

Though I readily admit that you can definitely get a comparable Windows-based laptop for much cheaper, I think this is probably your best bet for a cheap, modern-looking and no frills kind of macbook. It's truly awesome. I love it.

Lightweight, easy to use, great purchase! I previously had the MacBook Pro 13" and this was a great upgrade.

Shipping was great and as a previous consumer of Apple products the macbook performs so far to expectations. Just make sure you are a streaming type person since this doesnt have extra ports
