I originally thought this was the worst computer ever made, but that was before I tried one. If you plan on using this as a secondary machine or don't require a lot of horsepower, it's actually a dream. I wanted a computer that was thin and light, and this is the apex of both features. The keyboard might take some getting used to, but it feels fine after a few days. The speakers are really remarkable (they might be the best speakers I've heard on a laptop) and the display is just gorgeous. Best Buy has been regularly offering deep discounts on this model, so I'd recommend it in a flash.

It is a wonderful product & sleek design. The only drawback it only has one port to access everything. So you have to purchase an adapter so you can use it with USB connection and other functions. Other than that, so far, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase

I love my new MacBook!! The only thing I don't like is that I wish it came with a usb plug, but I bought the adapter.

This was for my daughter and she loves them Macs. The Gold color was an awesome plus. Very light, perfect for her.

Really this computer is beautiful. Thin and lightweight - this is why Apple excels at design. And the computer just feels good to the touch. Beautiful Retina display - complete with all the Apple bells and whistles. Only thing missing is the lighted Apple on the case lid which was on previous versions - guess the new version is simply too thin for this (it still has lighted keyboard)

Very light laptop, it is really good for simple tasks such as browsing online, word documents, etc. Not recommended for college students in which their major is engineering, designing, architecture, etc.

I really like it. It has everything I need for work and school in an extremely small and lightweight package.

Its a great laptop but i think the processor should be faster but 12 inch is bit smaller for me and i would rather have a laptop which is few mm thicker with an option for usb and separate outlet for power..

You get what you pay for. This lap top is sleek, light and easy to use. None of the frustrating PC issues, especially if you're an Apple iphone/ipad user.

I am truly Happy with this computer. it is light as an IPAD with the functionally of a computer to include the use of a flash drive. I love the color too.

This is the perfect notebook for the traveller. It's barely heavier than an iPad and has all day battery life.

The new MacBook is very slim and portable. Works well but takes some time to learn if you are used to Windows.

This mac is great for portability. Needed something for the train. So far it seems plenty powerful considering it only has an intel core M. The only noticeable issue is graphics performance. When you have a ton of windows open the animations from switching between windows looks slightly laggy.

a perfect porlable machine and great piece of engineering. very responsive and ligth weigth. usb c brings a lot of new fewtures for external storage.
