this lap top is smaller than i thought. it is very light weight. great for teens but not sure i would use it in my mid 40s....

Got one of these for my wife, then had to get one for myself, too. Replacing a 2010 and 2011 MacBook Air. I can run Photoshop with no issues. She records and handles post-production for a podcast on hers. For me, the keyboard takes a bit to get used to compared to the wonderful chiclets of the MBA. Having only the USB-C port hasn't really bothered me. Grabbed a couple of the Apple Multiport Digital AV adapters off eBay for less than half price and all is good. Slick little laptop with a great screen.

When this first arrived (for my wife) I couldn't believe something so thin and light was a laptop! It looks like a tablet, but it does have the capabilities of a laptop. One con- if you intend on connecting ANYTHING by USB port, make sure you buy Apple's special (and proprietary) USB to USB-C converter. Was VERY frustrated when we couldn't connect the Apple external DVD drive to the laptop because we didn't have this silly little cord. Should be included in either the laptop or the DVD drive.

This is ultraportable and elegantly designed. SSD is great. the only thing that needs to be improved is the face time camera

I absolutely love this Macbook! At first I was kind off skeptical about the negative reviews but it really all depends for what you use it for. If you really just use it for school work and the basics this product is amazing!

I went from an old Sony Vaio to this sleek computer with zero usb and no cd drive. I really thought I would end up returning....but I love it!! Runs smooth, quite, and fast. Can't believe I waited this long to buy a MacBook and now I'm glad I did. Have no idea about all the tech stuff..but I know it's fast and easy to use.

This new Mac book Pro is awesome. It is so light, the retina display is such an improvement over the older model. The new color of gold is amazing what will they think of next. don't like the new C cable idea though.
