I got mine open box for $900. That helps the rating and at that price it beats a MB air with a better screen, more RAM and larger starting flash storage. It is great for email, web and light office work. It can handle your streaming too. I had it running two streams on separate external monitors. You need to know two things versus other Macs. First, the keyboard has very little vertical travel. It may take a while to get used to it. Second, it only has the one usb-c port. This is not a big deal for most tasks, but it is still early for usb-c, so you may want an adaptor. I went ahead and bought an hdmi/3 usb3.0 adaptor to run multiple monitors. Don't cheap out on the usb-c adaptors/cables as I've read about many issues with the cheap ones.

Size and weight are great. Another advantage from my last one is the additional storage space.

This MacBook is so light weight and thin. It makes it so easy to take along with you on the go.

Great laptop for student. the small size is perfect for small desks that are everywhere in school. battery life is awesome as long as you mind your spotify use. but battery life is great with normal student use.

If you are looking for a laptop that will do heavy video editing and other large programs look elsewhere. But if you are a student who writes papers, watches videos, maybe does some photo shop here and there this computer is perfect. The display is a Retina display meaning that it has a high pixel density and super clear images. The keyboard is flat but has wide keys that you will rarely miss. The build quality is unbelievable for such a thin laptop and the sound is loud and somewhat full. Better than ALL other small laptops I have tried. This computer is absolutely perfect for me and I highly recommend it to the person who was thinking of a tablet, but wanted something more and with a keyboard. TAKE THIS OVER THE IPAD PRO.

Great powerhouse of a Mac. Super light and portable!

I do love the size and weight of my new computer. However, it is a difficult transition from the older macs. I have not needed to use a port yet, so they are not missed.

This is the perfect size for travel and for a little bigger size get a laptop vs tablet

The new MacBook is great for those on the go, and store items in the cloud. The only downfall is that there is no USB port.

This laptop has a beautiful 12 inch picture in a case smaller than the air it replaced.

Love it as its potable and can be moved around. The battery life is good and I wish there could be some protector to protect it. Also the ability not been able to get free ms office is challenging but overall it's indeed a good product and I live it big time

Purchsed this 12" MacBook for my daughter. She's replacing a damaged Mac and wanted the smaller size she could take to job sites. Nice specs. and the quality is up to the usual Apple standard.

Going from a 2007 MacBook to this was a huge leap in the right direction. Very fast processing speed as well as smooth operation. Keyboard is amazing with the keys feeling like they aren't even there. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade.
