Very light, very sleek. I love the size and portability of this computer. All the power of aMac computer with the size of a tablet. Great buy.

I first bought the macbook air 13" because it was on sale but I kept thinking about the compact sleek design of the macbook. I ended up returning the air for the macbook and I have to say it was the right decision for me. I primarily use this for school (ie. writing papers) and browsing the internet and it has been great for that. Great battery life and very portable.

I’ll be quite honest here with you and I am just writing this review to help the average person understand what the pros and cons of the laptops are. This laptop is a well-built laptop for if you want something light. Be prepared to spend a-lot of money, maxing, your credit cards, and etc… but can be well worth it depending on what you do. I’ll make some points here. The point is not praise the laptop, but give you a different point of view from what others have provided. 1. Back-Lit Keyboard: Yes, it has one and you can see it very well… even a room that has a good amount of lighting in it already. 2. Processor: It can be argued that the processor is slow, but what I have learned is that it is amazingly fast for OSX. I did a review on the Yoga 3 laptop and found that the processor was extremely slow and everything would lock-up. To my surprise, the same types of processor were fast on this operating system. The laptop boots up fully fewer than two seconds, can handle virtual machines, some older powerful games, and multi-tasks. My laptop has not locked up at all due to the processor. 3. Touchpad: The touchpad has been built extremely well (as expected with Apple). The one for the Lenovo 3 was finicky and I’m glad I decided to return that laptop and wait for this one. The touchpad has always been responsive even when the laptop is under duress. The force touch is amazing, even though not needed for now and I’m surprised how the touchpad emulates feedback as though you really clicked it (read up on it online if you want more info). 4. Screen Quality: I was concerned before seeing the actual laptop because the Lenovo 3 display was poorly built. I assumed it was to save battery life, but to my surprise… the screen for this MacBook looked quite as good as the MacBook Retina. You can turn it up high and it does not kill the battery like most Windows laptops would. 5. Weight & Mobility: The major selling point! Yes, it feels like I’m carrying around an iPad and I forget I have it in my backpack half of the times. 6. Bloatware & Spyware: None to report! The Lenovo 3 had tons including the recent spyware incident. You could argue that the Mac programs are Bloatware, but there are NO third party software here that will slow your system down. You get what you pay for. 7. Batterly Life: I assumed this to be poor because the Lenovo 3 would only get 3 to 5 hours. Yes 3 for anything crazy. This laptop gets between 7-11 for me. It depends what your doing. One tip, do not run chrome unless you need to. It just eats away at your battery. 8. Versatility: It’s a regular laptop and not a 2 in 1, so yep. 9. Touchscreen: No touchscreen here, but I would never would want one on the MacBook. It’s a work machine. 10. Charger: It’s not too short, nor too long. I wish it was longer, but it’s cool considering how it’s a USB cable and not a standard charger. This is great because you could charge this laptop with another laptop or with the CIG lighter in your car. 11. Wireless: I never had a problem with the wireless connection. It was able to take advantage of the AC connection and was able to connect to both the 2.4 and 5 GHz band. 12. Overall Thoughts: I am a geek and I like things to work smoothly. With the Lenovo 3, it was a constant battle of waiting for the screen to rotate, some third party pop-ups coming up, and dealing with constant battery life issues. With the Macbook, it’s to the point. You open it up, start working, and done. Being in the military, this has been a godsend.

If you don't mind spending the money for an overpriced laptop like this, then you will really love it. If you are looking for value look elsewhere.

It is a great small lap top. Love how it fits easily in my luggage.

Since I had iPhones and iPads I thought it was time to upgrade to an Apple computer. The MacBook is quick, lightweight and as easy to use as my other Apple products and they all sync so I can find things from one device on another.

Hi Just purchased a new updated apple laptop. I have been purchasing only apple products for the last 8 years and would never switch back to any other brand. Have not ever had a problem with my apple products. Would highly recommend to anyone to stick with an apple you will not regret it.

nice computer for the size. not a power house like that macbook pros but it does the job efficiently. all my friends think its looks awesome too

I was a little skeptical when I saw this laptop because it has no disc drive, no USB ports or anything of the like. However, this practically weightless laptop is perfect for my job because I am constantly on the road. I don't currently have an external disc player, but I'm on the hunt for a good buy. Honestly, this computer is surprisingly fast and efficient!

we love the apple computers, however this iMac does not have a CD ROM or USB port so it makes it hard to connect other software and devices.
