I've used a Mac desktop for a while and decided to switch to a Mac laptop as well. With the writing and other requirements I had, a Macbook was perfect and this has done well for me so far.

I am very impressed with this MacBook. It is very lightweight but quite powerful. The battery lasts for the whole day and the screen is so gorgeous!

This computer is simple and lightweight. It's apple so you know it has a quality build. The picture is perfect and its powerful enough for its size.

Excellent resolution,illuminated key board with makes easy to type during night. The 12" is perfect for travaling with power of desk top computer.

It May not be the fastest, although its done the job for me, but it sure is the best looking one and the Retina display will make your friends jealous

I ordered the MacBook because I wanted something portable. When it came in I was disappointed. It is a very attractive laptop, but for me it was to small. I decided to return the Mac book and get the pro. The pro is still portable slightly heavier but overall satisfied. I wish the pro came in that space gray color .

Love it it's has everything i need, I didn't think it had a usb outlet but it's the same one as the power. Electronics now days have it all it has numbers and macs word program it's perfect & I'm in love with the golden color very chic

Very fast and easy to use computer. I have Siri on it. Once in a while I have to restart it because the screen freezes but not often.

This Macbook is more than plenty enough for all those who need a laptop. Is it a little expensive? Yes. Is it way more expensive than it should be? No. It runs anything and everything you ask of it from games, software, and even FCX.

This MacBook is great for the casual user. I use this machine non-stop everyday and I have had great performance. I just it for word processing and Internet brokering mostly. I run multiple desktops with the mission control with several apps running at the same time with no slowing. If you can get one only having one USB port and using a USB C to 3.0 adapter than the only draw back to this MacBook shouldn't bother you.

I would say for my first MacBook,it's a great tool to have and it runs well...am very happy with this product!!!

I had been without a working computer for at least 3 years. I contemplated buying a budget computer to get me through the next couple of years of graduate school, but I also didn't want to give up some of the more desirable components of a new laptop, like storage, processing, size. The macbook was still more money than I originally wanted to spend, but the fact that I got everything I wanted in a laptop and will nowl have a nice working system for many more years makes it especially worth the extra money to me.

I have always been an avide PC user for my laptop and iPhone lover, hated the crabby battery life and clunkiness of a PC laptop so I started contemplating MAC. It took me a couple times to get it right; first bought an HP before going to MAC, then got the wrong MAC because I wanted the USB port. Best Buy was fantastic with each exchange, way better than they had been in the past. Battery life is amazing, performance is great, and purchased Microsoft office suite so I can still do my PC related work.
