I really like this labtop. I bought it for my wife & she loves it. Haven't really done a whole lot with it besides browsing the Internet. My wife uses it for school. The only flaw is sometimes it won't regonize the password. So you have to reset the computer. That is getting annoying. It took 5 restarts to get it going. Otherwise it's great.

This is an amazing product but ONLY. If your a simple person who would use it for Internet and storage and word (if In school)

Love how lite and small this laptop is. The Retina display is great. NOt sure what the nits is, but it's one of the brightest laptops I've seen out there. Keyboard and trackpad takes some getting used to. I have not mastered it yet. Still feel more comfortable with the island keys. What else can I say, it's a Mac. Works great with Handoff with your Apple devices (iPad & iPhones). Could be a little faster though. Doesn't hear up like other laptops. Only complaint would be the price tag.

My overview report for this product well I will give it a 5.0 but if you want this to be your main computer they are other chooses in which you can chose from. But that is not what anybody who wants to buy this product will want to hear but it is the truth. One thing I do like is the keyboard and trackpad.. To be honest now that I have been using the keyboard I am actually faster at typing on it than an average keyboard but to some people it might feel like a cardboard keyboard but it takes time to get used to. The mouse I will just give it a 4.0/5.0 because I don't like the force touch design. P.S An advise to Apple please when you are thinking of making a new Version of this laptop please put at least two or three sub type c ports.

Because of its size and light weight it is perfect to haul around at school and carry when walking between classes.

I bought this one after i gave my macbook air to my brother. Have been complacent with it so far.. But macbook air has a better processor. I also use a VM on my machine and the performance doesnt degrade by much

Yes it is expensive but its fast and will be good enough for most people. You won't be able to play serious games or do 4k video editing but you will get away with light gaming and light video editing. If you watch videos, read and respond to emails, blogs and browse the internet this computer is for you And it looks awesome doing it !!!!!

It's appearance is great, it weighs nothing, it's the fastest laptop I've ever used. It's was a outstanding purchase!

To me this is an A+ rated laptop. The screen size is slightly bigger than MacBook Ai 11.6". For the price I got bigger screen with Ratina display, bigger memory on RAM and SSD. Don't know about other consumer laptops but MacBook has best metal finishes that I love. Recommend 100% to buy this product. You will not regret. Also, best thing about this laptop is, when you sell it off after few years later, you still get a better price. SO, Big bang for the Buck!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this MacBook because it is incredibly light and the screen is amazing.

i was skeptical to buy as i already own a macbook pro. but after getting this it is more portable , more light weight and has the best sound among all the apple macbooks .. got at a very good price at best buy

Bought this for my girlfriend since i had a few gift cards and it was on sale. We chose the "rose gold" more like pink for her. The screen and the speakers are outstanding. Much better than my 13in Macbook Pro. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the keyboard but she doesn't have any issues with it. I can say that the backlighting on the keyboard is much better than my Macbook Pro as well. This is probably not a great computer for video editing or other heavy tasks but is just fine for photo editing in the built in Photos app from her Canon 18megapixel DSLR shooting in RAW.

This compact machine packs a lot of power. Great for working on the go. The only thing I miss is having a USB port.

Nice laptop for general use. The size is convenient and has a good feel. The limited number of ports can be annoying, but workable if you use bluetooth connected accessories (Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad).

I love this MacBook! I love how light and thin it is. Yes it does suck because there's no USB port. I could've purchased the Mac Air but I didn't love it the way I did with the MacBook. I got space grey because the silver looked like the Mac Air and the Gold was just too much. After making this purchase I'm a little bummed out because Apple came out with the color rose gold in this MacBook! I wish I can exchange it for the color but that wasn't going to happen. :(

This is a great laptop that's thin, light and portable. It's perfect for daily travel and does everything I need!

Purchased this MacBook for travel. I have a MacBook Pro 13" and an iMac, but I wanted something more portable for a recent trip and on the go computing. Its a great buy as long as you do not intend upon doing graphics intensive stuff with it. It has a mobile processor, which is less gutsy than what you'd find in the Pro, but it didn't seem to lag too much. I did, however, return this model for the 512KB model once I realized this would become my daily user.

i had gotten a macbook without realizing it was more like an ipad than a laptop. we took it back and i was able to upgrade to what i really needed without a hassle. very easy and pleasant experience.

Love my MacBook! Great portability and convenience! Lasts all day through classes and when browsing for fun!
