one of the thinnest out there. butterfly keys will grow on you. the webcam though is horrendous for a laptop this expensive

I wanted a small, light and durable laptop to run basic processes. This one has several attractive features and works perfect for my needs. The only con is the single port, but I was able to get an adapter hub to plug in multiple devices when I need to.

This computer was for my mom – she needed something more powerful than an Air, but less than a MacBook Pro. This did it! Would recommend 256GB or higher....do yourself a favor and just don't buy anything with 128GB or less these days. It's worth it to get storage space that will still actually be useful in 2-3 years.

Thin lightweight and powerful. What more could you ask for. Running Windows 10 thru boot camp and works like a charm!

Nice laptop, but overall rating is 4 because it's a little bit challenging with only one USB c port connected to it!.

Very light and portable, but not a great computer if you want it as your primary instead of just supplementary.

I was a little hesitant about spending so much money on a MacBook that I had not done my homework on, but with the help of knowledgable and skilled bestbuy employees picking out the perfect Mac could not have been easier! Kudos to bestbuy for helping me achieve my dreams and making school easier!

I would not recommend this item to anyone. The USB port is a joke. Very limited connection wise. Gave it away.

I bought the Macbook Pro 13 newer 2015 edition and I liked it but I really think that Apple is moving towards the New Macbook 12 inch style of laptops and this is the first one. I just feel that the Macbook pro and air have been around for a long time and are Great but they are the Old and this is the New. The USB-C is no problem for me because I use my iPhone 6 plus to take pictures and then just download them from the cloud wireless no when I am using my New Macbook 12 inch I am running on battery all day and then I plug it in and it charges very fast. I have not been Disappointed yet with the normal web surfing, mail, calendar , iTunes, apps store etc The El Capitan software woks smoothy. Some people said in the reviews that they had trouble with the set up process, but mine went very smooth and downloaded everything with out a hitch. It is Very Nice being to just pick it up to walk into another room, you will notice the weight difference when you do stuff like that. It never hurts to ask but I got really lucky they had a open box USB-C 3 way connector mine was the usb/HDMI/USB-c which costs 79 dollars and I got mine for 58 dollars. It is in mint condition. I am a police officer and so don't use this for hard core stuff like Video editing etc so I can't really help you out with that part. From time to time you feel the heat from the bottom of the unit but no more worse then the Pro. I was really sitting on the fence about buying this but as soon as I got it home and set up and started using it I fell in love with it. The keyboard works Great and the keys light up very clear. The battery probably won't last more than about 6 to 7 hours at a time before you may need to charge it but don't forget it charges fast. Overall really satisfied with New 2015 12 Inch Macbook. Apple makes incredible products. In trying to simplify this laptop so much, the could squeeze in an extra port nor room for extra memory. And to get an extra charging cord is pricey. But the machine performs as any Apple product does, exceptionally.

I was looking a Mac air for my sister as a graduation gift. After searching online for awhile, Best Buy offers the best deal in the market! I'm happy that I found such a good deal ($400 off discount!). I will definitely check Best Buy first if I'm getting any IT products next time.

It's so light, I can take it anywhere. The CPU is slow a bit, but it's enough. Overall I like it.
