This laptop has just blown me away. Screen is beautiful, keyboard is awesome, track pad is awesome. Speed is great. Very responsive. I had a Macbook Air 13 inch from late 2010 and this blows that away. I am very happy with this laptop. It is also very very light.

Good build quality and design asethetics. Only useful for light work and word processing as bigger programs tend to lag. Flat keys are also not good for prolonged typing.

i did enjoying my mac,it s having really easy GUI, easy to connecting wifi and totally awesome for beginners like me,its also wise money spending purchase. Thanks

I have had this laptop for 4 years now with normal to light use. Within 6 months, the screen needed to be fixed (vertical lines covering the screen). The next year, I noticed my keys were harder to use after using my husband's laptop. Fast forward to now, the keys take a lot of work to get to type properly (especially the return key and shift). My space bar quit working completely at one point and after a youtube video we were able to adjust but it is starting to go again. Now, the battery life is shot. It will randomly shut off even if it has 75%+ charge and the battery says it needs to be replaced. My last laptop was a PC and it ran for 10 years, cost next to nothing compared to what I spent on this. I bought a Mac because so many toted them running forever. The only thing great about this one is the screen image. This will more than likely be my last MacBook.

I don't like it. I prefer my Macbook Air. I would suggest looking/trying this computer in person before buying.

My son has been a Mac user for a long time. This is another great product by Apple.

Machine turned out to be faulty. After a few weeks of regular use, there were screen issues which rendered the machine unusable. Apple did take it in a repair the issues through the AppleCare warranty that came with the purchase.

I got this laptop for editing photos and videos. And I love it, it's slim lightweight, and very fast for its size. Let's not forget its aesthetically pleasing. Gold!!

Keyboard difficult to type on. Doesn't feel like my MacBook. I make numerous mistakes and have to retype. Battery life is poor. Not what I had hoped for.

I purchased this computer about a week ago from my local Best Buy. I wanted to wait to give my review until the "wow" factor was gone. This computer is much more then I expected,even from Apple. My main concern was that is only had a Intel core M chip,expecting it to be so slow. But that is certainly not the case. I also own a !5 inch Macbook Pro with Retina display and on my network this computer is just as fast...trust me. The keyboard in which I'm using to type this review has no issues,it will just take a little time to get used to,no biggie. I highly recommend this computer if you want the latest in technoghly.

Thin, light, and the performance is enough good for me to do some simple photo editing and music producing. One thing need to notice is that don't use it under the sun, this thing would get overheated and stop working. Daily use would not make it overheat, though.

This laptop is a real thing of beauty. Its almost unbelievably thin and light, has an incredible display and speakers, and has by far the best trackpad I've ever used on any computer (regardless of size). The Dell XPS 13, which I also considered, pales in comparison. Unfortunately though I couldn't get used to the very shallow throw of the keyboard. My typing speed and error rate were identical to what I can do on the Macbook Pro, but the experience was distinctly less pleasant. To me the keyboard felt way too much like, well, a board. I wanted badly to like the machine but ended up returning it.

I was beyond excited to get this machine. I love the design, how portable and light it is, it is a marvel! However, the keyboard I was so excited about did not work for me. The flush buttons did not account for a woman using the keyboard. I have fairly short nails, but a bit of length and I can not type effectively on it, because there is no room for it to rest now. Also, I can not feel the transition from one key to the other which is causing me to suddenly think about what I am doing and I can not type one sentence correctly. I tested this and the guys had no issue, every girl hated it. I am taking it back & I am disappointed I have to do that.

It’s an iPad with a keyboard. Avoid any of these new faux laptops.

I made the switch to Apple about 8 years ago and for the most part have been happy with my products. The reliability of their computers is high. This laptop is exactly what I was exactly what I war looking for, something ultra portable. I have a Mac mini and 2012 Prop but I wanted something easy to carry around. It's fast and works how I need it to. Any heavy design functions I do on my mini. It's nice to have another portable option.

So I purchased this to replace my 2010 15" MacBook Pro. WOW. very nice.The screen is very clear, the keyboard is different, but very nice. The touchpad is amazing. And it can handle photoshop VERY well with large files. Battery life is amazing as well.

Although I do very much like my new macbook and am in love with the retina display, it is quite a downgrade from my pro. The biggest drawback is the keyboard. The keyboard style is so different and hard to type on when compared to the keyboards os the regular macbooks. The battery life is also not as advertised, 6-7hrs max with brightness @ 50%
