The laptop is well made and is a great size and weight. It is very solid and the screen is crisp and clear, but the power of the processor might be a turn off to people. For what I use it for in daily life, it is fine, though.

Ive had this MacBook for about a month now and I'm completely satisfied with the product itself. theres still not many accessories for this particular MacBook yet because its the newest of the family but very happy with it.

I love this Mac it's the thinnest Mac out there and has great power for what I need.

Boots in 20 seconds, very light, easy to carry everywhere. Only one usb port but, easy to adapt, multiple usb 3.0 adaptors with usb c, charge and use usb 3 ports at the same time. Simple and sleek runs the latest osx great. Not a power house for media processing, but works great for normal office and personal use.

Apple hit another home run with this model. I was a bit skeptical about lack of usb port, but it has not been an issue.

very light very sophisticated Retina 5K is awesome

The new MacBooks have stunning retina displays and the basic memory has been upped to 8gb. Super thin and light. Heads up - it only has USB - c so you may need multi port adapter to use a USB device or plug in hdmi. Also missing is the lighted Apple logo on the lid - apparently too thin for that feature.

This is a very nice laptop and very light. Ideal for travel and going to class. There are two downsides: first you have to buy an adapter for USB port, HDMI etc. One more thing you need to carry around. The second is an Apple dilemma, they need to make their OS touch screen. But if they do, that kills the iPad. This laptop would be 5 stars plus if it was touch screen! But if you want laptop that is easy to carry and want a Mac, this is it. Much better screen than the Air.

I love apple products and this does not disappoint. I love the color range it comes in and how light and portable this laptop is. I take it almost everywhere with me! The only downfall is there is no standard usb port which makes you have to buy an adapter but thats not an issue since its only $20.

I bought this laptop for my son for college and business, and he absolutely loves it! It is small, lightweight, fast and easy to use. While a bit more expensive than many other computers, it is well worth it for someone who can appreciate a good fast, dependable laptop with lots of great features.

Love the integration and similarity with our iPhone 6's. Light weight.

If you are looking for something between ipad and mac air this MACBOOK is what you need

it's a beautiful addition to my apple lineup and perfect for work on the go as I travel A LOT. the price is just obnoxious and unnecessary tho.

Apple has amazed me, very light laptop, but it's not a workhorse, wish that it has touch screen monitor so you can use it both ways but Apple doesn't build them. Maybe some day!

I am major in environmental engineering. Though mac cannot work on some special software like flowmaster,WaterCAD, Aspen etc, it could work fluently on AutoCAD and Photoshop. Macbook12 is easy and convenient to carry. It can last for about 6-8 continues hours.
