The usb connector really should be included with the product. The slim finish, and the battery life is amazing however.

for most people this laptop is perfect. Super light & portable. The one port is a none issue. I'm very wireless as it is so don't use USB ports often.

It is fast, light, good size screen and beautiful! Very good to bring with me everyday to work on my side business while commuting. The only down side is that it doesnt have USB port!

Great laptop for a student. Bought one for my daughter and loves everything about it. Although the camera quality isn't so great or the availability of any ports is a downer, it does have its pros. One being very thin and light weight, great color, and loud quality speakers for it being a small laptop.

It is easy to carry in the office and for travel. It also has a connectivity to Apple products like iPhone, iPad and Apple watch and is possible to share the information in all in one.

Migrated from a Core i7 11" Air to this system and absolutely love it. To be honest I don't find the difference in size and weight to be very relevant. Both are featherweight, highly portable systems. The new Macbook is superior in my experience for other reasons however. Firstly the display is effectively twice the DPI of the Air, allowing for both crystal clear images and text as well as more effective screen real estate. A vast improvement over the Air. The new keyboard takes a little bit to get used to but the larger keys and more even switching have significantly deceased typing errors for me. The trackpad is also a little different, but as much a pleasure to use as the one on the Air with the surprisingly useful "force click" option. Battery life is decent (6 hours of business use in my hands) and recharge time is excellent (dead to 100% in just under 2 hours). Really cool however is the option to charge it from a cell phone battery charger, giving me effectively 20 hours of heavy use by throwing a USB battery in my bag. No more crowding around the charging table in the airport and no more battery life anxiety. And for those worried about the "underpowered" Core M processor - don't. All my business apps run great and I can even crank up a game of BioShock Infinite at very acceptable frame rates. The new Samsung storage is also wicked fast - I copied a 428 GB backup to this system in an hour and 11 minutes! The only limitation of USB C I've encountered is not being able to connect to a thunderbolt display. Otherwise a multi-adapter has proven to be a simple solution to charging, hooking up projectors and montiors, and connecting any other standard USB peripheral you might need.The internet trolls who claim this system is "overpriced garbage" as usual haven't ever actually used one. For the serious business user or road warrior, this is easily one of the best options currently on the market and well worth the price it commands.

Great device. Battery lasts about 7-8 hours of active use. Retina display is a huge improvement. My only complaint is the single usb-c port makes things difficult to plug in.

It is one of apple's nicest products. Very slim and light. Unfortunately I am missing more connectors.

Lets be honest. I had my doubts on the processor in the MacBook. I didn't think that it would be able to keep up so I played around with one for a few hours before purchasing. Got it home, loaded up my software (Logic, Office, FileMaker) and handles it all without any issues. Able to play youtube videos in full 1080p with no issues. Not disappointed at all!

Purchased the Apple Macbook because of size and weight. Broadwell M cpu is good for surfing and light duties. Battery life is just ok compared to Macbook Air 13. Screen is a sight to behold, colors and resolution are great. Force Touch Pad takes a little getting used to. I think the Dell XPS 13 is a better value for folks that need more processing power.

The MacBook 12 is simply the best built laptop packed into an wonderfully portable design. I work on a Mac Pro 15 and thought I would use the 12 as a lightweight backup. I really was sceptical about using the MacBook 12 for work (website design and marketing). Now I find that I seldom use the Pro. I get some serious work done on the MacBook 12. Photoshop runs like a breeze. I was sceptical but now I'm convinced!

It has been seven years since I purchased my last MacBook and this one has been a great replacement. It's weight and size are amazing compared to my late 2009 model.

Compared with apple store, which need more than a week to ship the mackbook, Best buy shipped my order in a few days.

This laptop is small, but very portable and lightweight. It's nice and powerful, and it has all the benefits of an Apple machine (apps, messages, FaceTime, etc.). I just wish I had realized that it doesn't include a regular USB port, but I bought an adapter and it works well.

Great Apple product, it is small but the overall package is mighty. It is light weight, powerful, fast, and very versatile. Would definitely buy other Apple products.

Really enjoying the reduced weight in my shoulder (even though I'm replacing a MacBook Air). Also enjoying the increased CPU speed and the crisply clear screen.
