Very portable machine, but very limited ports makes it hard to use.

I love the tactile touch when you click the mouse pad. It is such a slim computer, and there is an adaptor hub for attaching different things (such as vga, or usb 3.0). The lack of ports was a major decision for me not wanting to buy this computer, however after a little research I found out that was easily fixable. Great Apple product.

I have always been a PC girl up until now but I got tired of buying a new computer every three years. I use my computer for Facebook email Netflix nothing crazy. My friend at work has had the same Mac for well on 7 or 9 years now so he suggested I try Mac. So far I love it. The finger commands took a little getting used to but that's all. The retina display is AMAZING.

I purchased this computer because my HP Windows computer was dying on me. Since I've had this computer I love everything about Apple! Will never go Windows again and I can finish school and excel work on it pefectly. It starts quickly and doesn't freeze at all!

Got a great deal on an open box Geek certified laptop. It works like new and I’ve had zero issues with it for over a year now. Lightweight fast, great Mac.

I purchased this for my wife for keeping her use (keeping photos, email, word processing, etc.). I wish I would have bought two. What a neat little computer. I will definitely purchase this computer for the next of kids that go away to college. Supposedly it is not a very "powerful computer" but we have yet to experience any speed/computing limitations. Granted the categories of our use are somewhat limited.

This sleek little gold number is a real head turner. Fast, efficient, compact, and lightweight. After having 3 generations of iPads and 4 generations of iPhones, I have finally made the move to the dark side and embraced a MacBook. I love it. Not looking back. As one friend commented about Apple, "They just work."

So light, and fast...love the size and weight. Key board is also a great size.

I've always had Windows laptop and desktop PCs. I like the freedom to customize at will. I already own iPods, iPhones and iPads so I finally decdeid why not get this new sleek piece of hardware that rivaled the Surface 3. I was on the fence about both until I went to the store and played with the MacBook a bit. It's super light, the screen is absolutely amazing even at its dimmest, and the kybd feels great. The lack of ports is a turnoff especially once you realize the $70 cable isn't included in the steep $1500 price tag but I've honestly only used it a few times so far to transfer media from my Windows laptop to the Mac. Issues so far: (1) if I have too may apps open at once I get the rainbow wheel of death and have to force quit each app one by one then restart, (2) mail app won't sync, it's totally useless. I called apple tech support and spent over an hour on the phone and via chat and they said to restart it in safe mode which works only briefly. I expected to be this 8gb ram MacBook able to run multiple apps with no issues like with my 4gb ram Windows PC. The processor makes all the difference. It's basically an iPad with a keyboard and no touchscreen.

I've always had an HP laptop, so was a little hesitant to get a Mac, but I love my Apple iPhone. It took about 2 days to get used to it and now I LOVE it! It is super light and portable. I thought that the 12" screen would be too small, but it is the perfect size! I love everything about it!

I like how light and convenient the MacBook is which I now bring along with me during my business travels. I travel frequently for work and with this lightweight MacBook, it is really handy for me.

I LOVE my new MacBook. I have macs for the last 10 years and this one is by far my favorite. It is so light and fast. I bought it because I am going back to school for my masters and I am thankful I don't have to lug around my old heavy MacBook Pro. I highly recommend investing in an adapter that had USB plugins but also has a USB-c slot so you can charge it too.

It is so much easier to pick up and move about with arthritis in my hands.

It's a wonderful laptop. Love that it's weightless and can take it with me everywhere and anywhere. My new MacBook fits perfectly in my purse!

This was my first Mac purchase. I have always been an iPhone user, but have always had PCs. I was planning on getting the MacBook Pro, but was convinced in store to get this Macbook instead. It does not have a USB drive, or CD drive. So I have purchased them separate. It is extremely light, lighter than I would like I would say. It seems very delicate. The size is nice, I'm still learning my way around Mac. Overall it's not bad for a first time Mac user, but if I were to purchase another, it would be the MacBook Pro instead.

Wanted a laptop that was lightweight with speedy performance and this model hit the mark.

It's everything Apple promised it would be - light and durable, yet powerful and fast!
