We bought this for my daughter for her 18th birthday. She is starting college in a few weeks. The size of the screen is perfect for a backpack. Easy to use tools & screen is clear & bright. Battery life us excellent!

Terrific little laptop, I primarily got this for web browsing, movies and lite document work and it has not disappointed. Excellent performance, screen resolution and battery life. Glad I got one before they were gone.

Bought it for my wife and saw how much better it was compared to my MacBook Pro (mid 2009). Had to upgrade my RAM in my Macbook Pro after using this baby. Its super light and the battery is very exceptional. I would recommend for anyone.

I'm a big fan of Apple products and the 12" MacBook did not disappoint. When I had to sell off my MacBook Pro, I decided I wanted to get the MacBook for portability. Its very light! Despite the criticism it got for being underpowered, I can say those claims are false. I use it for programming and using virtual machine running windows and it handles them all at once like a champ, not much of a lag at all. Also because its fanless, the laptop is ALWAYS quiet. As for processing power, its a small effecient CPU, but when you need power it delivers. Overall, very happy with the product and quality from Apple.

It is a super light small laptop. Great for a person always on the move.

The new keyboard is excellent as is the screen. The size/weight is great. the lack of ports could be an issue - and the fact that USB-C port available is not a Thunderbolt port - but for what I was going to use it for (at home) it is fine.

I bought this to replace a 12 year old 1st generation MacBook and am enjoying it. I am not on the computer all day so the size screen is perfect for my needs. It has beautiful resolution. Wish there was more than one USB port.

So far I love my 12" Mac laptop. It's lightweight, perfect for moving from room to room on projects. It fits very nicely in my old 12" iPad carrying case. You will need a USB adapter though as there isn not one on this laptop.

This is the 4th Mac I have purchased (this one for one of my sons) and I have never been disappointed. It is light and powerful. Would definitely get another if the need arises.

This computer accomplishes all of my needs for basic web browsing, photos, office applications and battery life is great. Added bonus that it can be thrown in any bag and hardly be noticed as added weight.
