Does the standard things of websurfing, FB, Twitter, etc. She uses another computer for serious numbers crunching. Very good display and picture quality. Nice and light to carry around too

I was initially worried about the size of the MacBook in comparison to the MacBook Air or Pro, but it is perfect! Easily fits in most bags. Screen size and resolution is perfect. This is a must buy if you must have a MacBook but do not need to store a lot of programs or files on the computer hard drive.

Very good but....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to use this MacBook as my primary computer, but unfortunately it just doesn't have quite the power I needed to drive my photography software. I think the form factor/size/thinness/etc are absolutely FANTASTIC. It is just a bit underpowered for what I needed. If I were to just keep it for media viewing, browsing, entertainment an such, it would be perfect. I returned it and bumped up to the 13" Pro and the performance difference is quite noticeable. I still highly recommend the 12" for most normal use if you get a good deal on it, otherwise, spend a bit extra and get the Pro.
