I replaced my late 2012 MacBook Pro with this 12" 2017 MacBook and could not have made a better decision. It is extremely fast, small, light, and exactly what I need for school!

Finally invested in laptop after years of iPad use - like having both. Light weight, fast and great display - alternate to Air (wonder if the Air will soon not be offered?)

I have wanted a MacBook 12in since it first came out. I have had a MacBook Pro 15in since 2012. I wanted something smaller. This MacBook is small and lightweight enough to carry around. Battery really does last a long time. It was easy to set up. I returned it only to exchange for one with more storage. I may not need so much, but I would rather have too much than not enough. Apple all the way!

Love the size and light weight. Has all the power I need plus Apple's style and ease of use.

I like the size, speed and weight of the MacBook. It’s just right to take to school!

The only reason why I returned this Macbook is so that I could order one with 16GB of RAM. If you get this from Best Buy, save money and get an open-box item. This is the most portable laptop that you will ever own and since it's so portable you will most likely take it with you more places than you would if you had a larger one. I wouldn't get this as a main computer if you're heavy user but I see this as an iPad replacement (due to being so portable).

I had an old 2010 MacBook, that died on me. I needed a new computer and decided an the MacBook 12", so happy with my purchase. Small, light and easy to use. Wish I had purchase sooner, love it so much. I bought the adapter so I can plug in other items, USB and hard drive from old Mac. Had no trouble transferring files from old MacBook. Excellent purchase, would defiantly recommend.

Great size and weight if you are on the go. Standard Apple features. Lack of second USB port annoying.

Love it! Perfect me and at 1099 for a Mac book couldn’t pass up. I haven’t had a laptop ever!(I’m cheap). But with running a small business it’s about time. I’m Apple all the way and now with the Mac it makes everything easier. I will have to get an external hard drive but that’s to be expected. Beautiful perfect for 12” fast. Love that it has Siri and other cool features.

I bought this computer as a gift to my wife, she was happy with it but she doesn't know a lot about apple OS, so I setup windows and I was worry if the computer will be slow, but I really get surprised about the result, it's really fast even with windows OS, and The battery still for all the day, I really love it, beautiful small, great resolution and quality and fast

I love how portable and light it is. Plus you have style points for the design. It’s also fast for every task except heavy video editing and gaming. Bluetooth is a welcome option since there is only ONE usb-c port. You can but usb c ports for 20-40 dollars if you need a mouse (I bought a Bluetooth one). Don’t get the apple mouse. It’s garbage. Go Logitech or other 3rd party.

Great Mac Book light in weight super thin fast and easy to use

Everything on this device is going to be absolutely premium. The screen is fantastic, the trackpad and keyboard are great. The keyboard does have shallow key travel, but it's clicky and I like the feel of it, this will be a personal opinion though. Great speakers, great battery life. The only con I don't like is the one USB -C port and headphone jack. Why not put a second USBC port on? Performance wise, its great. It's speedy enough, don't let the M3 fool you, its really like a i3 with the Y processor, just a different intel naming convention which is confusing. I can run VS Code, Chrome, and terminal commands with no issues. I'm sure photoshop would work well too.

I needed a new laptop to be able to complete school work. I've owned quite a few HP's and a Chomebook and neither compare to this product. It's sleek and fits well into my book bag without adding a lot of extra weight making it easily transportable and the picture and design is great.

Purchased for my sister and her experience with this machine has been wonderful. Small enough to carry through school and fast enough to run Microsoft programs to get her homework done. The fun pop of color adds some personality to the monotone world of laptops. Great purchase.

I had a hard time deciding to get the MacBook or MacBook Pro. I didn't need anything to powerful because I already have a iMac. So I chose the MacBook and very glad I did. It's the perfect size and It is far more powerful than I expected it to be. I love this thing!

Been using Mac for years and wanted to upgrade - wanted something even more compact, light and faster processing..

This is a great laptop if you travel a lot. It is small, lightweight, extremely functional, and the battery life is impressive. In true Apple fashion, there is no USB port, and you will need to purchase a $70 “dongle” of sorts in order to be able to plug any USB or external device into the computer

Is an awesome computer, my wife loves it and she use it for college, very reliable and easy to carry since is so thin and amazing battery life she sometimes uses it for 3 to 5 days without charging

I purchased this laptop to use for college and it's been great so far. It's incredibly light weight you almost don't even realize your carrying laptop. It weighs about as much as a paper notebook and is so fast! I love the color and the features so far!
