The good - SMALL. Perfect for traveling and on-the-go. I only do web browsing, invoices, etc on a laptop so it's perfect for that. The screen is BEAUTIFUL. My Macbook Air looked like a CRT monitor after looking at this one for a while. The bad - VERY annoying to not have a thunderbolt port... feel like they should've addressed this before release. A little slower to boot up and come back on after closing compared to my Macbook Air. Also feel like an extra port instead of a headphone jack would've been better. Now that they made me buy wireless headphones what's the point of that? Those are my only complaints.

I bought this laptop for nursing school and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It is the perfect size the travel back and forth to school with and the battery life is amazing! a full battery will last me through taking notes in a 5 hour lecture and while studying afterwards ! It has never died on me throughout the day.

I got this computer for school and it is everything I needed and then some. It is perfect for all of my assignments and keeping myself organized. My only problem was the adjustment from a windows to a mac. It functions differently and takes a little getting used to but after a few days I had it all figured out.

As I was getting this as a secondary portable laptop for light use on catching up on emails and doing some minor work, the speed is just fine. Compared to my main laptop, Dell Xps 13 (i7), it felt like a chromebook speed at first, but after everything was set up on Macbook, it started to pick speed up, and it's perfectly adequate for everyday use.

I saw this laptop on sale at a reasonable price and it was time for me to upgrade from my old laptop. I love all the updates and it's a great laptop. However, 12" size screen does bother me. I have a 11" laptop that was about $100 so it would be my travel laptop when I'm at a coffee shop or at a public place. I had a 13" laptop that was stolen but the screen size is perfect. I have a 15" laptop for college and the screen size is great! I recommend spending a little more and get the 13" at least!
