Bought this for my son's first year of college, so far he's loving it no complaints as yet.

This machine is incredibly thin and light , which makes it a great match for students !

I bought this for school and I didn’t need anything super nice because my major didn’t require any high processing programs. But at the time had I spent 100 more dollars I could’ve gotten the air. The computer is still nice and all but to get the most bang for your buck I would steer clear of standard MacBooks

This was a great replacement for my 11" MacBook Air and is recommended if you like a small form factor. Performance isn't great with the low end processor as I find it delays noticeably, but at the same time you should not expect to do much more than your basic functions. The sale price could not be beat, otherwise I probably would have gone for the latest gen MacBook Air with Touch ID.

Core processor is i3, very light in weight good for school projects and college seminar handling

The Mac Book has everything a person would need for pleasure, home use, school work or job. For people who are use to Windows, training or schooling would be necessary to learn all the programs on the Mac Book.

No need for constant virus interactions or adjuncts which is a win/win

No surprises - as described. Best Buy price was the best around. When you buy a Macbook you know what you want and what you're getting. Much less variability than in the PC world, so price is often a deciding factor.

This is the third Mac Book purchased for my Grandchildren. It must be easy to set up as I hand it to them and I am done. A great benefit to their education

Purchased the Rose Gold color, (very pinkish) for a graduation gift. The receiver loves it. I was disappointed about not knowing how to add the tech support package at purchase. It's been about a month & still loves it!

I bought my second Mac from Best Buy. Thankfully I bought the full coverage on my first one as Geek Squad covered all of the repairs and got it back to me pretty quickly. Very happy with the product, price and service.

There is no laptop out right now that is better than a MacBook, Macbook is the way to go and highly recommend, it’s a little on the expensive side but worth it and will make your life so much easier!

This laptop is lightweight has the 256GB capacity for homework and school notes assignments. The size enables it to fit in a backpack easily. The screen display is pleasing to the eye
