Love this product, super light weight and great color (rose gold)

I am a first year PhD student, and I purchased this laptop to have something to "take with me" to classes, seminars, etc. I have a Mac desktop at home as well as a Dell desktop in my office; Thus, I opted for this MacBook because it is practical, super light (I can't even tell when it's in my bag/backpack), and a good price. Highly Recommend.

When you look at other MacBooks on the market it's hard to find one on a budget. This one, however, is an excellent deal if your purpose is to surf the web and use light programs. It won't do heavy duty programs such as photoshop too well. But, for the price you pay you get a slick looking machine. My wife loves it, only had slight slowdowns but installing an ad blocker helped speed up the browser. Installing flash player actually caused problems so we uninstalled it and use Chrome if needed. Good price, quiet, light MacBook.

Bought this while it was on sale. Even though quite expensive, I'm glad I purchased it after all. Love it so far. Ultra portable - which is the primary reason I bought it for. Love Best Buy - always great service when I went in the store to see products in person - and for this particular item, it was a breeze purchasing online as well.

Love this beautiful little computer. I was new to Mac and I wasn't sure what to expect. Being an iPad and iPhone and Apple Watch owner it felt like it was time to finally get a Mac. Now I don't know what took me so long to switch(besides the the price). When I saw this deal I went for it. No regrets if your already in the Apple ecosystem and you still need a computer I absolutely recommend switching from pc. No brainer. Love the solid state hard drive it makes it feel snappy and responsive just like a cell phone. I got this open box and it was flawless except for finger prints on the outside shell. But those wiped off no problem no scratches or signes off use otherwise. My only beef was they shipped it in a bubble envelope instead of a box. I don't know how it made it unharmed maybe just luck. This was a sale of $350 plus another $150 for open box. That is way cheaper than any apple refurbished price. The only way this was halfway affordable. Definitely worth it at that price for the solid state preformance, and build quality of Apple products. Mac OS is just an added bonus. The continuity of the ecosystem is so nice.

I am a long time fan of Apple products. I bought this laptop for my high school son. He is very happy w/ the laptop.

We had been thinking our old MacBook Pro was slowing down, so, after research, we were almost ready to get either this 12 inch MacBook or a MacBook Pro, the current model. This fabulous Best Buy sale made up or minds for us. So far, so good. Much faster obviously, with no downsides so far, although it does just basic use.

such a great laptop, and the color is amazing. it works well with all of my school work, as well as the normal web browsing and music/video streaming. i experience close to no problems with using it. it is very user friendly and isn't hard to adjust to using coming from a pc.

This is my first Mac after 20 years using PC's to develop software and work with web design, and I'm already in love with this machine. The screen is amazing, the operating system is very reliable and straightforward, the portability is unbeatable and the integration with the iPhone is superb. Worth every penny!

I had a Mac Laptop that had lasted me many years. I then used a HP and that was good for what it was but when i saw this rose gold "little Mac,'' I just had to have it. It is so light, I carry it everywhere. In hindsight though I should have gone for a Mac Pro as this screen is too small for me and my older eyes.
