I bought the rose gold MacBook for my daughter to use at college. It's lightweight and compact...perfect for taking to class and the library. The Retina display is very clear. I'm confident that laptop will last all four years of college and beyond!

I upgraded from a 2011 MBA to this 2017 MB and wow is this laptop awesome. It takes getting used to the new keyboard otherwise it's very quiet and works well.

Kids needed a computer. I still use my old MacBook Pro from over 9 years ago. Started to really glitch and slow down. Kids needed a reliable laptop. Super fast and know the quality of Apple products. Will last through their high school days I'm sure.

Great computer for student, arrived on time. Apple makes it fairly straightforward to initialize and customize device, with ability to pull settings from iCloud and sync to other devices. Overall I and my child are happy with the purchase.

Tried Microsoft Surface Pro for a 18 months and a Surface 3 LTE for about 6 months, sold both and pick up a 2016 macbook. Nothing compares to Apple. Use my iPhone as a hotspot and it just works everywhere with no issues and excellent battery life.

I was looking for an alternative to replace an old Levono/IBM laptop and didn't want to deal with Windows 10. Decided on the Macbook. Slight learning curve trying to convert Windows to Mac shortcuts but performance and usability is really nice.

Although a computer like this has obvious limitations, I think this computer feels great and is wonderfully light and useful. The Core M chip inside runs all the apps I need and the portability and screen sharpness alone are highly worthwhile.

I love my new MacBook and it's small footprint. I shopped for a month and kept coming back to Best Buy, where I eventually purchased my new Mac. I did it online and picked it up several days later. So easy and the best price I found.

My wife and I were looking for a lightweight travel laptop and this filled the bill. Not a power house for heavy computing but great for day to day use. Even the charger cord is smaller and does not have the brick style transformer.

Bought this MacBook for my brother and he absoultely loves it

I want to start out saying that the build quality is very much Apple. The little MacBook is very accessible and very useful for everyday tasks. This is a great little PC, but it feels like it is a very basic tablet or net book. I have found that transferring 30 GB of documents via USB C port takes a very long time, hours, and publishing an iMovie is something you want to start and then walk away from. Multitasking results are variable; multitasking seems okay as long as you are not also watching a video or doing something graphics intensive. I typically purchase a new laptop every 2 years, and this one I can recommend but I will say that with the caveat that I will not be satisfied with this MacBook for two years I am afraid. The keyboard is wonderful and the track pad is still superb. Overall, I do not think this machine is worth the price, the storage is good and the RAM makes it useful, but again for the purpose of this machine I think a i3 windows ultrabook is a better choice.

MacBook is a great laptop. Light weight, slim and fast performance.
