First time buying a MacBook and it was the best choice I've done in a while as far as technology goes. Battery lasts the amount of time it says and the fact that it's lightweight makes it all the better. Super easy to get the hang of and will definitely be purchasing another Apple laptop in the future!

Rather disappointed with computer. No touch option which makes it feel obsolete compared to some other computers. Am a loyal Apple customer but surprised by lack of features.

I bought this computer going into my junior year of college after having a pc for the first two years, and I would never go back to using a pc. The Macbook Air 11.6 inch is lightweight and small, so it makes it easy to bring back and forth to school. It also has a long battery life, so I don't have to worry about charging it during class because the battery lasts all day. The laptop is extremely fast and easy to use, and I like that all of my pictures and music from my iPhone automatically load onto my computer through iCloud, so i don't have to worry about backing them up. This laptop is perfect for a college student.

Disappointed that many of the features from the older model are now disallowed. For example bluetooth does not communicate with nonApple products.

I like it because it is light, but it was slow when I tried to access to several website. I returned it.

Gets too many viruses/ pop ups for a mac. Also don't like how it doesn't have many ports like older models. But overall a good item for the price

The space bar is too stiff, difficult to hold down for a long period of time. The color is off, no contrast, bad blacks. The absence of scroll arrows is sad, I miss being able to automatically reach over horizontally to manipulate a page, now i have to go back up to the top, try to find the low contrast losenge and manipulate it up and down, with my thumb on the space bar, getting sore from having to push so hard to keep it engaged.

I returned this product after a couple of days. It runs excel super slowly. If you plan to get a computer for surfing the internet, read a few emails and occasionally use youtube, netflix, etc. then this could be ok. Although, for those tasks, I'd probably get a cheaper computer like a chromebook or something. The screen on this mac air was really small to even read stuff on google. Returned it for the surface pro and loved it.

I'VE WAITED FOR BEST BUY TO HAVE A DEAL OF THE DAY AND I LUCKED OUT I BOUGHT THIS BEAUTIFUL LAPTOP FOR $699.99 AND PRICE EVEN BETTER I HAVE ABLE TO USE MY REWARD CERTIFICATES WHICH BROUGHT THE PRICE DOWN MORE. ALL SMILES. I WAS BETWEEN THE 2 SIZES 11 OR 13 INCH. 11 INCH IS SMALLER BUT MUCH LIGHTER TO CARRY AROUND. 13 INCH IS BIGGER AND A TAB BIT HEAVIER THAT I CAN DO WITHOUT. 11 INCH WAS A GO VERY LIGHTWEIGHT, BATTERY LIFE IS SUPERB 9 HOURS OF USE AND THE FAST SPEED IS GREAT AND FANTASTIC. I WILL GET PLENTY OF USE OUT OF THIS FOR THE NEXT FEW YEARS. 4GB MEMORY AND 128GB FLASH IS ENOUGH FOR ME SINCE I HAVE ANOTHER LAPTOP TO WORK ON. THIS LAPTOP IS MUCH DIFFERENT THAN WORKING ON WINDOWS. I'M GOING TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS USING THE AIR. I DID NOT BUY THE APPLE CARE WHEN APPLE OFFER A YEAR WARRANTY ON THEIR PRODUCT. AND SINCE APPLE IS ALWAYS COMING OUT WITH NEW PRODUCT EACH YEAR I CHOOSE TO SAVE THE $$$. THANKS BEST BUY FOR RUNNING THE DEAL OF THE DAY. LOVE THOSE SALES. THIS IS A KEEPER.

Not as innovative as I thought. Am a long time Apple user. However, am disappointed with this computer.

I wondered what an open book item was but I thought , "After all, Its Best Buy! and it is geek certified! why can't I go ahead?" and I went ahead and picked this up by about 8 PM this friday. On the same day, when i tried to boot it up, it was stuck in the "Prohibitory" symbol. I was shocked. Later I went to the store the next day only to find out that there was a hard disk failure! I was asked to pick up any other open book item. I did not know why the Mac was Geek Certified when it failed on the very next hour after I picked it up! At the Store, I was confused about which piece I needed to pick up. The person at the customer care keeps directing me to another person who apparently can help me with the availability and he directs me to this person at customer services, who can help me with account information. Confusion, Frustration, and Inconsistency are the key words I can define for this experience. I would never recommend an "open book" item whether it is certified or excellent to any one.

Not a bad laptop. Returned it for a bigger screen. Other than that, nothing wrong with it

The store service was absolutely perfect. I'm disappointed in the Mac I purchased. It is so, so slow. My 2 weeks expired to return and I've only had this a month. It's a terrible computer and I haven't even made my first payment.

I normally don't write reviews. I'm a marketing practitioner and part-time adjunct marketing professor who talks about Apple all the time in my classes. This is a solid laptop and can be "great," as long as you understand the context of what your needs are. Own an iPhone/iPad and finally got a Mac. Spec-wise, this is a "better than average" laptop, not fantastic. But if you're looking for a computer that doesn't really ever crash, incredibly light weight and easy to use, Mac Air may be your answer. This is not a work horse. If you need a Mac with more capability, then you'll need the Pro. If you need a new laptop for personal use and productivity, possibly have other iOS products, CAN spend a bit more on a laptop with "good" specs, great portability, and want to finally migrate to Mac instead of Windows, this may be great for you, as it has been for me. If you can't understand the value proposition or you just don't see why this laptop comes at a premium price, you might be better off with a comparable Windows PC for almost 40% less. It's silly to ridicule Windows. Get a Mac, if it makes sense for you.

I bought it when it was on sale and it was still not worth it. Returned it when i saw a pc that was selling for a lesser price but with higher memory.

Lighter than it looks. Never thought that it would matter so much, but it truly does. Thanks Apple. Charge time is roughly 2 hrs., then it lasts at least 9 hrs. and charges at a good pace while you are listening to music and surfing. That's Apple. Quality fit and finish. IOS software is functional and complete. Go ahead, cough up the cash and grab it ........ might be the best laptop made.

Bought this for a family member after convincing them of the merits of Apple hardware: more reliable, more compatible and extremely portable/lightweight. Bought online, shipped immediately and arrived well packaged.

Have always been a Windows PC owner. Love the graphics and speed of this sleek and stylish model. It has made my work so much more productive. I am learning more and more each time I use it. I would recommend it to anyone. I'm so impressed with Apple products now I am going to buy the new 27inch IMac right away.

I am upset this is the 3rd mac air I bought due to the screen blacking out for minute reasons. I like the machine I do not like having to buy a new one every year.
