As a college student and a writer this computer is amazing. It lasts for almost twelve hours, depending on if I use it to listen to music while I work. It's super light, which makes taking it to my classes really easy, I don't think twice about carrying it in my bag. I carry an oversized purse so if I know I'll have time to write I can take it with me. Going from a PC to Mac was nowhere near as difficult as I thought it would be and while I'll always like PC, I don't think I'll go back. Mac is expensive but it's worth every penny. The computer's storage is really low, only 128 GB, but I bought a non-apple 1TB external hard drive from Toshiba for like $20 and it works great. I also pay for Microsoft OneDrive and that comes with another TB of storage so that problem in really negligible for me as long as I download whatever document or playlist I want to listen to on the device before I'm out of wifi... Or just carry the 1lb hard drive with me! So really, this computer is perfect, I write constantly on it, and I only do light streaming and downloading. If you are doing a lot of streaming from the internet, I'd recommend a pro over an air, but other than that the computer is perfect. I'd recommend it to any writer as the best computer Macs are designed for writing and for durability and the air is definitely designed with writers in mind, no doubt in my mind.

Apple Products are a Must! -Reliability, Portability & Lightweight. I will never buy a PC again after owning a Macbook. Life expectancy on a PC is 2 years and for a Macbook it is 8 yrs or more. Plus Macbook's don't have updates every day or 2 like a PC. The saying is True, "You get what you pay for. And did I mention that I'm writing this review in the dark because the keys light up?!!? This thing has some awesome features. Get you one. Treat yourself don't cheat yourself.

I love my macbook air because it is portable and easy to carry to carry around.It is also light in weight and this removes the burden of having extra laugage especially when traveling.It makes my work easier and also enhances my performances in all ramifications because of it's long battery life.

I have no complaints. This macbook has exceeded my expectations. Especially I don't have to download an antivirus. Im tired of microsoft, always getting virus and spywares .. This macbook is very light, fast, gets the job done and just very convenient.. Im totally inlove I use it all day. I used to have a sony viao, then when that broke down, i bought a samsung.. It still works but I don't use it that much, it has gotten really slow after about 2 years even when i have already downloaded an antivirus. I only had this macbook for a month but i can tell that it's going to last me a long time because it has that reputation.. Right now im just really happy with my new macbook

I love my first mac book air. It took me 5 months to decide if I was ready for a mac. It take a while to get hang of all the strings of Mac but overall by best buy ever! Why? It fitted my needs- Email, iMessaging, FaceTime, Netflix, Facebook, office (didn't come with purchase), calc, reminder- name it! everything in one roof! light weight. cord extension, awesome battery life! I am a therapist working my way to get a nursing license - I am always on the go and this mac does the works for me!

I love my mac book air! I bought the 13 inch because it the perfect size to carry in my school bag. Its light weight and I can use it for just about anything! And I didnt know it was virus free! So that's a bonus!

Incredibly thin and lightweight. Screen size is great... Allows me to do everything I would want a laptop to do. Cases for the MacBook Air are so cute too so I can accessorize my new favorite electronic!

Amazing computer. It has great graphics and runs at very fast speeds. It is also very easy to learn to use. I would recommend anyone who wants a great computer to get this one, especially college students.

It's a nice tool for a teen. My son uses it to study but he also likes to play on-line. It's very light and has enough speed for his needs.

I love my new computer, slim design, long battery life, it was very fast to turn on compare to pc. Only issues I had were finding all the shortcut key, and the touch pad function.

Absolutely love this laptop. This is my first Apple computer (I own an iPhone & iPad), and so glad I decided on the Air. It's sleek, lightweight, perfect size for everyday use. It has everything I need! I was looking at the new MacBook because it Is smaller, & lighter (& comes in gold), but once I put them side by side the screen was too small on the MacBook & I am not a huge fan of the new keyboard. Plus the MacBook doesn't have any USB or audio ports, just a charging port. So glad I decided on the Air!

I love it. I bought it for myself because I will be going back to college and I wanted a lightweight computer. It was an easy setup. I have other apple products so it was like second nature. I highly recommend getting this computer. It is truly a great investment. Money well spent.

Got this macbook air on sale 799 and used the 10% mover's coupon I got when I changed my address at the post office. Total came out to 720+ tax. That's the same price as your average toshiba or HP ultrabook (I would NEVER want to live with windows 8 so the decision was easy)
