I bought this laptop for my son to use for school and the graphics are great. It's easy for him to access the different applications.

I've never owned a Mac before, so it's been interesting getting to know the differences between this laptop and the Windows-based ones I've owned in the past. Pros: it doesn't get any easier syncing my iPhone with the MacBook Air. Sharp display, sleek, well-lit keyboard, built-in webcam. Cons: not many ports to attach additional accessories. No built-in DVD drive, though it does have an SD card reader which is convenient for transferring pictures from a digital camera or other device. For you to decide: I purchased this laptop on sale for $900 (instead of $1000). Any additional increase in RAM or memory on the solid state hard drive is another jump in price, so consider all your options. I also bought an Apple mouse (since it connects via Bluetooth, it doesn't require one of the two USB ports available on the laptop) which is regularly priced around $60-70. You can expect to pay the same for an Apple CD/DVD drive which attaches via USB cable. At the end of the day, it's a Mac, but you get what you pay for.

Since I have an iMac for work, I knew I wanted to stick with Mac for a laptop. I could not be more pleased with this one; it's super portable, yet does everything I need it to do.

I needed a mac for work because it supports the necessary programs. I couldn't have asked for better. I have had no troubles and really enjoy being able to do what I need with ease.

Bought this for my daughter, for her school projects. she liked the size of the screen and was happy with all the features. The price at best buy was great as they matched the price.

This is the third MacBook that our family has purchased. Does everything that is required. My 3 daughters absolutely love their MacBooks and would certainly buy this product again.

Typical Apple product, straightforward and intuitive. Good battery, fast start up. The Apple software (Pages and the rest) are solid and compatible with the Office suite of products.

I love my Apple products, this macbook air does not disappoint. The battery life is awesome in comparison to my older model pro. Love it so much, purchased a 2nd as a graduation gift.

This is my 8th Apple laptop. This is a perfect computer for somebody that is always on the go or as an additional computer from a desktop. The only bad thing is the lack of space.

I am an Apple product junkie. I am impressed although MacBook Pro has the cd drive. I am not missing a beat with school or work related task including the small amount of memory.

I love apple products and this does not disappoint. Websites quickly load, easy interface with desktop, iPad and phone. And so light! Best Buy offers great customer service too.

Great and easy to carry..a lot of function..you don't need to install the microsoft office..easy to use but sometimes confusing because i always used the microsoft office software

Love the light weight of this computer. I am using it for personal use only and enjoy being able to sit on my sofa in the evening to check my email, pay bills, or watch a movie.

Weighing just under 3 pounds it is very good laptop to have for high school and college students.

looking around i thought that at minimum i would need to pay over 900 for this macbook and lo and behold i found a better deal then if i used my education discount. great computer.
