This was purchased for my daughter's first year of college. She is extremely pleased with it. Apple has a great reputation for durability and longevity.

This is the first time I bought an apple laptop. It is a lot better then any other Microsoft windows laptop. My last 2 laptops in 3 years was Dell and HP. Both great at first, but give it a few months and its filled with lots of bugs, viruses, update errors, and worse of all laptop it self was OVER-HEATING!!!!!! Burns my lap.....

It is totally worth it. Great computer and very fast. Love how simple it is to understand it and how clear the screen is. Really recommend to buy it.

I love apple products and I wanted to get a Mac for a while now and I'm so excited I did. This is my first expensive purchase on my own and I'm obsessed I treat my laptop like a baby. Great quailty and if you have other apple products you can sync everything so now if your own your laptop you are able to respond to messages and answer FaceTime calls its wonderful I recommend you get this one for your first mac you won't be disappointed. At first I was nervous because I didn't want anything thin but trust me it's not even as thing as you think it's perfect !

looking for something very light and portable, it was either this or the surface pro 4. both could drive larger monitors --- Mac OS is simply better.

My first Apple computer and it was very hard to go from a touch screen to this. It felt like I was taking a step backwards as far as technology goes. I bought this computer hoping for a reliable product. I had an Asus that was completely gone after one year of use. So far so good but it is very different from windows.

Apple is the best! I love my new MacBook Air. I previously owned a MacBook Pro - solid laptop, but a bit bulky for travel. My new MacBook Air does everything my old laptop could do (and more) plus it is very compact and light weight, which I need for business travel. Very happy with my purchase!

My new MacBook Air is flawless. I love how light-weight it is, and I love that Apple doesn't change things that work well, like the excellent keyboard.

My wife and I decided it was time for a new computer so that would be one of the"big" purchases our paycheck to paycheck family would buy with our tax return. We were looking at PCs without even taking a glance at a Mac thinking they were out of our price range. We stopped into Best Buy to see what was on sale and a associate from the t.v. Dept came over and offered help but said he could only help with Mac's cause that's all he knew. Sign from the Lord. Our church uses a couple of old Macs and they work perfectly. We are also going to use it in a year or so to home school our soon as well as regular use so we want something dependable. Long story short we decided we wanted a laptop that would still be working five years from now the same as when we bought it. Works great. Love it. Advice, spend the extra $$$ and get a Mac.

I love the air I debated for a while on the pro and air and I am glad I made the choice of the air it is nice and portable and small and runs great!

I bought my MacBook for college. Great discounts for students! It will really help me this fall and spring for taking notes and typing papers. LOVE IT!
