Purchased this computer as a gift for my parents which had slow HP laptops decided to give them something that didnt take couple mins to boot up. My mom in particular got use to the apple OS fairly quickly and seemed to enjoy the speed of it and how lite it is. You may spend a few extra bucks but its worth it in the long run since it will last. Great solid computer wouldn't hesitate to purchase an Air Book. My mac book pro is 5 years old and running strong, upgraded to 16 gb of ram and is lighting fast now. Apple makes great products and would second guess buying any of their products. Go get one.

The MacBook Air is very thin. I carry it when I travel because it's not heavy at all. 13.3 inches is the perfect size for me. It runs fast and efficient. I love it.

It’s a nice addition to our windows computers we have in the house. It’s a light laptop and battery lasts whole day, if not more. It is fast and responsive. Screen is bright and clear; videos look high quality even though graphic card is dated (as they say). It found our WiFi printer in our home network and got the driver automatically. It takes some time to adjust to differences between Windows and iOS, in case you also plan to do the switch. But this is not related to reviewing the laptop, so I’ll stop here. You need to do your homework, buy a book or search online on how to use this Apple iOS.

I bought this to replace a Macbook Pro which I passed down to one of my children. I was hesitant to go from a Pro to an Air but gave it a shot. The air does everything I need it to do and although probably not as powerful as a new Pro it is faster than my old one. The thing about the Air is that it is so light and easy to carry I tend to take it more places and use it more. The battery life is much better. I do recommend getting a cover for it. These are very light and inexpensive and not only protects the Macbook from light drops but makes it less slippery and easier to hold.

i have always wanted a black and i am so glad that i finally invested in one! this laptop is super light weight and compact so it is perfect for when I need to bring it to school or even with me to work. It is easy to function and I the battery life on this thing is amazing. So far, I have only charged my laptop twice. I would definitely recommend this to students. I would personally think business people would like the pro better since its a little more sturdy.

This was purchased for my daughter who uses it for school and pleasure. The computer is fast, light, great battery life and is an overall beautiful machine.

The Apple MacBook does all that it claims. Fast start up, all day battery life, lightweight design, gorgeous display. You can't beat it. Best Buy offered this model at a fantastic price after the Apple Spring '15 showcase.

I am very happy with my new Mac. I am a Mac person, since my first laptop, so I can't compare to other brands. It is and does everything Apple says. The battery life is great. It is so light weight. For me, this is the first laptop that I would ever want "on my lap"! I would suggest buying Apples Care program, but I was so happy to shop in the much quieter Best Buy store and meet 3 people who knew the Macs and could answer all my questions. I would certainly come back here for another purchase, and for now I am looking forward to putting a lot of miles on my new machine.

Recently switched from pc to mac. I love this computer. Super lightweight and performs well with the programs I run on this system. Great battery life.

I've always been a fan of Apple products for their user friendliness and durability. My most recent purchase was no different. Truly a great purchase and a great best buy experience. It's battery life is incomparable. Very long lasting. Truly enjoy the time I spend on my MacBook. Very fast downloads and programming. Glad I was willing to pay a little more than I've paid for my laptops in the past to buy a better quality laptop. I do not regret it!!! Love it.

I have been using Apple products for quite sometime now and the products they put out are simply the best. Before I got the MacBook Air I had an older 2008 MacBook Pro and to be honest it still works like a charm. Felt like I needed to upgrade so I got the newer air. It is lightning fast for what I need, has a beautiful display. Battery life is incredible, performance is unmatched from competitors laptops at that price. If you are looking for a laptop that gives you everyday functions at lightning speed and will last for almost ever then don't pass up on this.

With all the aggravation switching from Windows 7 to Windows 8, the transition to the Mac OS was far easier than anticipated. The MacBook Air is light weight, easy to use, loaded with tons of really useful software and is a photographers dream. It boots fast, has excellent battery life and with a $22 256 GB USB flash drive from Amazon has plenty of storage. The economics and elegance of the design is amazing and the quality of the video display is much better than expected. Last but not lease, I can finally say goodbye to this endless Windows security software updates.

My daughters begged me for six months to get them a computer they could take to places to work on homework assignments and stay plugged in to emails, Netflix, videos, etc. This has been the perfect computer. We found it on sale and used a 10% discount coupon to make it even more affordable. We've enjoyed Macs over the years and this one is no different. It may cost a little more, but Macs are reliable and easy to work with. We're really enjoying it!
