This has by far been the best purchase I've ever made. I love my iPhone but this MacBook Air is really amazing. It's light and easy to carry around and it does everything I need it to do for school and for personal use. I'm a little upset that it is currently on sale and I could have saved $100 but other than that, I love it and I highly recommend it.

I was looking for a computer to replace my Sony Vaio, which I loved a lot. I wasn't going to get an Apple product until I heard about the wonderful features of this computer. I like how long the battery life last and this has been tested based on a 4 1/2 hour trip I took. I like the sleekness of the Mac and I can take it anywhere with me without feeling weighted down. I also like the ease of using the scroll pad. I would recommend this product.

For people who have graduated college and do not really have a use for CD-ROMs (some college courses require CD for programs like My Mathlab, etc.) and numerous flash drives, this laptop is extremely portable and light, great for traveling. Had a MB Pro prior to this laptop, but don't miss the change to the MacBook Air - also because I did not use my MB Pro for editing or other tech saavy purposes, just for everyday browsing and surfing the net.

This is my first Mac (had been recommended to try one by several people after my laptop died) and I really have liked it for the past month. It's lightweight, yet a decent size for traveling or using as a main computer. I especially like how the long the battery life is as I tend to leave it on all day! I haven't been able to figure out how to add my contact email addresses automatically when sending a new email, otherwise, no issues.

I am a first year college student in a Mass Communications program; specifically Public Relations. Although I am only doing generals right now, this computer does everything that I need it to do. It's lightweight and easy to transport. The screen is not too big or small, it's literally perfect size. Graphics are amazing and I would definitely recommend this to get through one's undergraduate years. It is pricey but it is also an investment.

I'm a law student and I needed a new laptop to take to class/use for examinations. This laptop is absolutely perfect! It's light weight, fast, sleek (beautiful), and dependable. Not to mention I'm an iPhone user, so the iMessage feature on my laptop (and the fact that my laptop syncs to my phone) is so nice. I would definitely recommend this product.

The Mac air is fast and comfortable to use. The only complaint I have is that Apple should not be so greedy in pricing the software one needs to communicate with the rest of the world (Word). I'm a life long PC user and thought long and hard before trying a Mac for the first time. The learning curve has been short, I'm happy to report, but the fact that I have to spend so much money buying the Word software each year is quite outrageous.

I simply would recommend to anyone who is thinking about purchasing Mac. Very light and long lasting battery - these two are what I was looking for. And the basic apps came with Yosemite - all apple works may save you money, if you are not Office person. On my Mac Mini I have office. So I decided to keep Apple works in my MacBook. I brought this MacBook to my church camp and used one to two hours for 5 days. I didn't have to charge at all.

We got so tired of the constant battle with PC virus, spyware, malware, nightmare and the never ending spiral of slower and slower computer speeds. None of that applies to the Macbook Air. It's fast, has amazing battery life, and like all Macs, it just works. We added MS Office and my son uses it for all his college homework too. Just a great value.

Got this for my fiance as a late bday gift. I must say that I am jealous that I do not have this laptop! It is super skinny and I am able to travel with it everywhere (when I had it for the first week or so). It is fast although it only has 4 GB of RAM. The quality of the picture surpasses my Macbook Pro (2012 version so of course). Overall I recommend this laptop for anyone who needs the reliability to be able to carry around at all times.

This computer is lightweight and perfect for school. Fast enough for gaming and good battery life

I was torn between the Mac Book Air and Pro, after I looked at both of them and talked to a bunch of people I found the Air would be a perfect fit for what I needed. I wasn't going to do much graphics or music/movies so the light weight of the Air and the price point , it just made sense.

I loved my Mac Air ! It's lightweight and also very good on battery life as well as being quick !

Coming off of Windows PC I had a bit of a learning curve but as soon as I spent some time exploring, it was a breeze. I love the light weight of the MacBook Air and the screen is nice and big. I did add a small wireless mouse as the touch pad and my arthritis in my right hand didn't get along. I only use the mouse if I am going to be a lot of editing. I'm very happy with my purchase and use it everyday in my real estate practice.

Build quality of the laptop is very good. I am still working my way through the software and learning what it is capable of compared to the window's laptops I have. There is a definite learning curve. Screen is plenty bright and clear. System speed is very good and the battery seems to last forever compared to some older HP laptops I have. I am not sure I like the clicking the trackpad does but movement sensitivity seems perfect.

Perfect size for a 6th Grader, light and compact! For the price, I only wish it had higher memory.

The laptop is so lightweight and the battery lasts a long time. I love that it is connected to my IPAD and iPhone, especially for my photos and for wireless printing. It takes a little time to get used to it as it is different from my old windows laptop, but I love that I can do documents and spreadsheets with the MacBook without windows.

This laptop is so light. Lift it up and you will be shocked that a decent amount of power fits into such a small machine. The screen is definetly not as high definition as the macbook pro retina, but thats what you get for half the price. Recommend for high school or college students.
