As a graduate student, I was looking for a laptop that balanced memory, portability, and battery life, and I found it in the MacBook Air. Only drawback would be the lack of disc drive, but with trends moving toward digital downloads, I don't miss it at all.

I love this computer. It's really light, great battery life and stylish also. I have always been a PC user so there is a steep learning curve, but I have been completely satisfied so far. This computer has handled everything that I have thrown at it (Not literally). One of the main reasons for this purchase was to be able to edit and create videos from my GoPro.

Purchased this 13 inch MacBook Air in October, 2015. I needed a laptop that ai can travel with frequently. This one meets my need. I also own a MacBook Pro and this performs similarly. Very happy with the ourchase

The mac is great, very fast, easy to use, and i cant find anything wrong with it. It comes with so many helpful tools. I loved the people who were helping. They were kind and very helpful. Helped me choose out my mac and explained to me the pricing, difference in different mac laptops , and gave me awesome tools I could use. The helper also was patient with me and very cool to talk to.

Got this on sale for $749 after using $100 student discount (Thanks. Best Buy). It is lightweight and fast. Only thing. I noticed is that the graphics are better on my Ipad and were better on my. Macbook. Pro than on this. Not a huge deal since. I bought it to use for school. All in all, a value compared to the other MacBooks. I bought an external drive cheap so I can burn CDs and watch movies on it. Excellent choice for students!

Big screen! Extremely light weight with a great battery capacity (up to 12 hours).

My daughter recommended me the MacBook Air as a reliable family computer. She bought hers over 4 years ago for school and still running good. Apple care service is unmatched, second to none. Me, my wife and 15 year old son love the speed, functionality and light weight. Although we are still getting acquainted to the Apple operating system. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

have been using my Macbook Air 13 inch laptop (with 8gb RAM) for about a week now and I am so happy with it. I already own an old iMac and I have an iPhone 5 as well as the new iPad air but all of my laptops were windows - one Sony and two Toshiba. When it came time to buy a new one, I decided to stick with windows and purchased a Samsung touchscreen. It was horrible. Windows 8 looks like they were trying to copy Apple but failed horribly. I could not get used to using it so I ended up returning it. Then I started looking into buying a Mac. I didn't think I could afford it but when I compared the price with the specs and read a lot of information about it, I came to realize that it was actually a great value for the money. It was a little bit more than I thought I would spent (the Samsung cost me $700 so I had to add quite a bit) but there is absolutely no comparison between the two. There is really no point even mentioning it. This Macbook Air is everything that it promises to be and more! Speed - it is superfast. I have been using it as my main computer for school and work and it is incredible. It turns off and on in an instant. And I love that everything is ready to go as soon as you take it out of the box. I remember how many updates and different downloads I had to do when I got the Windows laptops - every other day there was a new update. I did not understand why a brand new laptop had so many updates; shouldn't it have come already updated since it is new? Anyway, with this Mac I was able to jump right into my schoolwork without any delays. I have never been happier!

Great product! I've researched the MacBook for a while now and decided to treat myself as an early Christmas present. The Sales staff were great, the MacBook is fast, powerful & light and no longer am I chained to my desktop. The 12 hour battery life is no joke. I've used the computer continuously all day long as a test and never got below 20% after being up & connected for 11 hours.

I've had 2 PCs and this is my first MacBook. I was reluctant to buy it at first thinking that Macs are just overrated, but the difference is wonderful. Each PC I had was much slower than the MacBook. This computer is also very lightweight and easy to carry for classwork, etc. I also have an iPad and iPhone so they pair with the computer and make messaging and picture sharing very easy.

I have had my laptop a month and have liked it so far. You can go pretty far on the battery and one way not to slow it down is to save your files on a portable hard drive. I have installed two other programs and do lots of scrapbooking online. The computer runs well and has no lag. I do use it for intense work projects and such though so I can't speak if you were using it for your job.

It's a rather nice device. Very fast, amazing battery length and very light.

I have been waiting a long time to purchase a mac computer and I could not be happier. I love how light it is and how fast I was able to get started! I am glad I finally made the purchase and you will be too!

Bright, easy to set up, works with my Mac, what else could I ask for? It has an unusual "bottom-mounted" on/off light which reflects on the desk which is less obtrusive than a front-mounted light (not that this makes so much of a difference) but it does add to a clean, thin-bezel, appearance. I love it!

New to MACBOOK Air, I am pleased to learn of the security with the Mac. After working and having a PC, some differences are challenging. But I can certainly adjust to the Changes in layouts, the Track.and other differences. Overall I'm "sold" on the size, the weight and my New Learning experiences.

Lightweight, fast processing system, and covers any possible work or pleasure need you may have. Won't regret it! Allowed me to handle many aspects of work and personal projects in one place. If on a data plan, make sure you turn off the back running programs as they will eat up a lot of data. Once you turn those off its minimal data usage. One of the best purchases I ever made.
