I bought this for my daughter and she just loves it. It is so easy to use and is compatible with all of her other apple products. Could not be more pleased.

what is not to like. this computer does it all. my kids use it for school, netflix, chatting email. I dont have to worry about viruses. I love this computer.

You can't beat Mac's the one Macbook Pro I have has lasted 4 years and been used heavily for video production. I expect the same lifespan out of this new mac.

I bought this Xmas 2014 and bought another as a gift Xmas 2015! Once you become familar and use a Mac, it would be hard to return to a Windows based unit.

Switched from Windows brand. That laptop lasted only 5 years. Friends and family recommended Mac. A little different at first, but now loving it! Also got it on SALE at Best Buy!

I originally got this laptop for work. I needed something simple, clean cut, and functional to use at starbucks, the library and around my home to do work. I already owned an iMac which is why I didn't go for a more expensive macbook, i figured if i needed anything more then I could log onto my iMac and work from there. This got the work done. I type what I have to, it links to wifi easily anywhere I go, and the battery life is amazing and charges so quick! its also lightweight, which i love because I will put it into a sleeve and then into my purse it goes. I got it for a great price, $350 off original after a student discount and sale price, but it was literally the last one for miles where I lived. I think the best buy sales associate told me that apple was coming out with a newer version of it, so I thought "great this one is either going to work for a little bit or start bugging soon." I want to say I got it about 6 months ago and it is just now beginning to freeze up, have black screens and non responsive buttons. This really annoys me. I don't want to spend another grand on a new one when this one is physically in amazing condition but the software is the one that isn't working well anymore. I plan to go into the apple store, best buy can't do anything since I did not buy the extra plan and they no longer carry it, but I don't think I'll get anything resolved. Warranty or apple care or not, I think a product, especially one as expensive as this one, should last more than 6 months and the manufacturer should fix whatever it may be to guarantee their product. But we'll see. I had recommended this product to friends/family but am now hesitant to. My sister warned me that her friends had begun experiencing problems like mine on their macbook airs but I didn't think that would happen to mine since I use it for simple things and am quite tech savvy.

this mac is very thin and light ..... 13'' is perfect size for me .. love it
