As usual, Apple made a great light weight laptop. Very fast and easy to use.

Pros - fast, light, efficient, good looking, fully functional Cons - Pricey, have to click - simple tap on touchpad doesn't work (not expected from Apple)

I'm really impressed with this little computer! Its got power and speed, and the Mac operating system runs very smoothly on it. I use it mostly for traveling - I had an 11: windows 8 machine, but it just didn't hack it. This 13.3 in MacBook Air is light and easy to carry. Very quick to set up in remote locations - finds Wi-Fi networks with ease and sets up printers effortlessly.

I have compared the value you get for the price on the MAC laptops and like this best. It is very light, easy to transport and works well. I like the mouse. The best is to purchase the laptop together with the warranty. I am very happy with my purchase. It fits in my handbag and is very light, yet it has all the functions that I need. This was definitely a good investment.

I'm really enjoying the fact that my MacBook Air is so light and easy to take around. I often slip it in a large purse and take it with me because it doesn't weigh me down, unlike previous laptops. It's also very fast whether opening files, apps, whatever. Downloads files super fast. My only quibble with it is you can't select fonts on the desktop as you can with other Macs.

Before I got this laptop, I was a total PC person, but now that I have it there is no way I'm ever going back. The battery lasts so much longer and all the basic programs are super easy to figure out and use. It's been about two months now and I use it literally every day for school assignments and personal use. I think it is super efficient and it really keeps me organized!

The 13" MacBook Air is the perfect laptop for students. I bought this as a replacement for an old MacBook Pro, and my daughter (junior in college) is very happy with this. Lightweight, awesome battery life, illuminated keyboard, solid build, and very snappy. When I showed her the retina vs. MacBook Air screens at the Apple Store, she said the Air's screen is more than adequate.

Wanted a MacBook for the family, 3 kids ranging 7 to 11, and this is perfect. Very easy to set up for family sharing. Very light and portable. Prefer it over iPad for kids because of keyboard, larger screen and ability to connect devices to it if needed. Stepped up to 256gb SSD for more storage.

While not trying to be biased, I have gone back and forth for years with Macbooks and Windows based laptops. My preference always seems to lie with Macbooks. The design along with the fact that it is super lightweight make this a perfect laptop to take anywhere. Lightening fast speed, apps for every category, iWorks, put together... Hands down a 5 out of 5 star device.

I just received my laptop yesterday evening and I absolutely love it. It is so lightweight. The battery life is amazing. I haven't used it in depth thus far but after getting on pinterest and etsy for a couple hours the battery life only went down 1%, yes you read that right! I struggled debating spending the extra couple hundred dollars for a macbook & I sure am glad I did!

I had a Sony Vaio before purchasing this one. I had always wanted a Mac and after years of fighting it, I decided to go for it because I wanted a laptop I could easily carry that was lightweight and portable, plus I love Apple products. I am so so sooooo happy with it; I carry it with me to school, work, everywhere without a problem! I definitely definitely recommend it!!!

I'm very good with computers and am the person my friends and family always go to with technology questions. That being said I can't imagine a better laptop to recommend to college students than the 13" Apple MacBook Air. It is in many ways the perfect laptop, truly portable while being fast enough to do most tasks with ease. The biggest reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the resolution of the screen is a little low for this price, but that is the only thing I can find wrong with it. If you are a hardcore gamer or will be majoring in photography, videography or graphic design you will want to get a MacBook Pro with Retina Display (and gamers should consider Windows laptops first). Otherwise, enjoy!

Love my MacBook Air. I was debating getting the 11 inch version, but I am very happy I decided to get the 13 inch instead. It is fast and I love the features offered with my iPhone. If you are a college student, be sure to sign up for student rewards in order to receive a significant discount. I recommend registering at least 24 hours before you want to use the coupon!

i was looking for a new laptop to replace my super dated white plastic macbook from my college days & the macbook air was perfect for my needs.. i just use it for internet and backing up my phone mostly.. i can see how some may not like it because it doesn't have a cd drive but really who uses those anymore? bottomline i got my macbook air for an awesome deal & love it!

So far, I have really enjoyed my macbook. It's light (which makes it great for taking to school) and it does everything I need it to do and more. Everything works really quickly compared to my old PC. I would certainly recommend the investment.

After a streak of bad luck with my last 3 (PC) laptops I had had enough and decided to try MAC. I couldn't be happier with the Macbook Air. It's lightweight, performance is great, and most importantly it works when I need it. I was worried about the differences in the operating system and learning the key strokes, but I have more or less picked it up with no problems.

I have been wanting the MacBook Air for the longest time, when Best Buy had the amazing sale of $200 off I couldn't hold off any longer, as I probably wouldn't see a sale like that in a while. It is sleek, thin, and very lightweight. I can't find one complaint with it. The battery life is superb and it is another great Apple product. You can't go wrong if you purchase this!

Its is light weight the processor is great. wished they had more memory

I had recently smashed the screen and damaged the metal casing of my iPad, so I was planning to get an iPad Pro to replace it. Then, this MacBook Air was selling at the same price. I felt this was the better purchase for me and my usage. The size is perfect and very light. The screen is also great. I like everything about this laptop, except I feel Apple is trying to use their fandom to skimp on storage size. The internal SSD should be larger, but it's not. I've already purchased a tiny 128GB thumb drive and I am looking into the SD cards that fit flush with the side of the case. I don't want to have a standard SD card because I feel it could easily get damaged because of the way it sticks out.
