Purchased this laptop for my college freshman daughter and no regrets. She loves the light weight and mobility of the Mac Air, Apple quality, ease of use and storage capacity for her needs. I purchased it, with her approval, for the same reasons. I do not like the added cost of purchasing Apple but the quality and reliability are worth the extra cost to me.

I needed a new laptop for school and Apple, being a brand I know and like, decided to finally spend the money on this one. It moves quicker and operates smoother than my old Dell I've had for 3 years, it's lightweight so easy to grab and go. Perfect for the student or constant mover.

I love this laptop. I personally use it for doing simple tasks like web surfing and word processing to more intensive tasks like graphic design and even video editing. It's a great product and it will definitely last you longer than any windows pc and the depreciation will be minimal.

Decent performance for its price. Slick and very beautiful looking great speed and fast connectivity to Bluetooth, wifi, and airdrop. Works great with Siri. Battery life is awesome. Absolutely way better than Windows!

Perfect laptop, excellent combination of mobility, battery life and performance. Mac OS X is rock solid and helps you get done what you need to get done. Practically no worry of viruses or malware. Only drawback is the screen is relatively low resolution for the price. However, if you really need high resolution when you work some times you can easily plug this into a high resolution monitor on your desk when working on photos or videos. Only users who may need more performance would be gamers (who should consider Windows 10 laptops or desktops) and photographers/graphic design/videographers (who should consider MacBook Pro line, iMac Retina 5k display or Mac Pro desktop).

This computer is exactly what I needed - something convenient and easy for on the go, but something powerful enough to get some real work done. It fits right into my purse and links up with my iPhone - overall I'm super excited I got it!! Wish I would have switched to Mac's earlier!

I love my laptop, OMG!!! I have wanted an apple for years and never brought myself to buy one and now my hubby bought me one and I love it I wish I would have bought one years ago. There is a bit of a learning curve switching from pc to mac but it is not that big, the device speed is great the graphics, the weight and the battery life are outstanding.

I absolutely love my MacBook Air!!! It's light weight and easy to carry with me to school. The resolution is awesome and the pictures are super clear. The speed is amazing! The best part is I received a super deal with it being on sale for $849 & Best Buy giving me a student discount of $100. I paid $749 for a $1,000 PC!!! Can't go wrong with this one!!!

Top lap top fast light and easy to use could not get anything else

I decided to upgrade to a laptop that was thinner and more portable. But I needed one that also had good battery life. O found that the new 2015 Macbook Air has a very long lasting battery and even an I5 chip which helps to make sure I can get stuff done. I only wish it also had retina display like the Macbook Pro but for me now this is a great investment!

This is a great computer. Light weight, fast and a sleek design.

I needed a laptop for online classes that I'm taking. The MacBook Air is perfect for me. It runs everything smoothly that I need for classes. I like how light it is so its easy for me to carry around. Went with Apple so it can connect with all my other Apple products with no problem. It's able to handle all the games I usually play on a computer, too.

All the product description buzzwords are true! Stunning, all-day, ultrafast, great, thin, light, durable, powerful. My wife made the jump from PC to Mac and the only regret she has is not doing it sooner! The touchpad is awesome and makes you forget that you ever used a mouse. Even though it is thin and light, it is built solid to where you don't worry about it getting damaged in any way. The wifi range is greater than any of the other computers in the house... it's picked up some neighbors' signals that we've never even seen before. The onboard speakers sound better than any laptop speakers I've heard, but I still prefer to use headphones or an external sound system. The display is great, but I can't compare to the retina display since I've never seen it. I haven't tried the AirPlay feature, but the AppleTV works fine using AirPlay from my PC, so I would think it works just as well with the Mac. Overall, a great system at a great price.

Fast, easy to use and lightweight. Perfect for taking on the go!

No hyperbole, this is the best macbook I've ever owned, and I've owned just about every model Apple has manufactured. The 13" +/- screen is a perfect size for my needs, as are the overall dimensions and the light weight. I'm 100% disabled and spend 23 out of 24 hours a day in bed. So, I write in bed with my new macbook laptop, and my production has soared. I simply could not sit at a desk and work as long on my 27" iMac (which I love also). Don't get me wrong, I get good use still out of my iMac, it's just that I'm more productive writing (creative writing: poetry, short stories, plays). In retrospect, I might have purchased the 15" screen versus the 13", only because my eyesight isn't what it once was even with corrective lenses! The 13" screen is fine, actually better than fine: it's crisp, clear, and astonishingly colorful. I say it often: Apple is a manufacturer of high quality, remarkably easy to operate and fun to use hardware and software.

This is a great computer, very light weight, durable and fast!

Great computer lightweight and extremely fast great for travel

Once again Apple has proven that they are the industry leader. Always ahead of the game. Fast processor and excellent resolution packed in a wonderful slim package with no heat issues.
