Great computer for school and web browsing. Good battery life as well. Not powerful enough for video and heavy photo editing software, but works just fine for basic computer use. Amazing design as always from Apple and the Air design really puts it far and above when it comes to a computer used on the go.

I was torn when getting this computer because I though I needed the pro but didn't have it in the budget and so I got this Air.... It has worked out great and I am very pleased with it's performance and it's so light! I wouldn't get the pro unless you are into hardcore gaming or photo editing on you laptop

Light weight and processing speed is very fast. The laptop has been perfect for working at home or when I am on the road. Battery life has been excellent.

This is a great laptop. It was hard for me to switch to an Apple product and I have no complaints making the switch. This laptop is perfect for students and for personal home use. Highly recommend this Apple product if you have a student who needs something portable and light to get around school.

Bought this toy before the holiday. Amazed by its long battery life(almost two days without charge with light usage). The flash storage disk is ultra fast and responsive. Only 8 secs for full power up. It's thin, light and durable enough to take everywhere. A must have laptop for almost everything

I have been using a PC for years at home, school, and work. It was time to replace/upgrade my old PC and I decided to go with the MacBook. It only took a day or so to get used to the differences from my PC (mostly because it was over 10 years old). I couldn't be happier...I will not go back to PC

I replaced a high performance gaming laptop with this machine. While it does not have the computing horsepower, I needed mobile computing capability more. The weight and very long battery life of this machine exceeded my expectations, and I am very happy with my choice to purchase this macbook air.

I purchased this Macbook as I am a nursing student and I love it!! It's so easy to use and lasts longer than any other computer I've purchased. Also, the battery life is amazing. I've had it for a month and only charged it TWICE!!

The MacBook Air is light stylish and fast. I use it to do just about anything...email, word processing, play games and watch movies. It feels light in my hands and the battery lasts all day. It is easy to travel with it and stay in touch back home. I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone.

I've always bought Windows laptop due to their low price. Never thought about buying a Mac due to there high price, but after buying one I can honestly say I'm very happy with it. Way better than a Windows and wasn't even all that much due to the sales bestbuy has for students! Highly recommend! (:

Got this for my daughter as she started online classes. She absolutely loves it - fast, full featured, great resolution, easy to use. I'd definitely recommend, and I'm not a Mac guy at all.

My husband and I recently bought this laptop and are loving it so far. I had a very old Powerbook laptop that lasted for many years but was unfortunately ruined by water damage, probably would've kept going. Decided to get this Mac because of how lightweight and portable it is, very happy with it.

The minute I held this MacBook Air in my hands, I knew that it was going to be awesome. I'm really pleased with the ease of use, ergonomics and the amount of technology Apple can squeeze into a lightweight design. Pick one up. The sheer lack of mass and excellent features will make you happy.

Purchased for my wife for Christmas. She needed a laptop for personal use away from work and this was a perfect choice to sync with her other apple products. Light weight and user friendly. She was able to power up and go without having to learn the system. The built in apps were a huge plus.

I was looking for a new laptop to start grad school with. I've always had Dells but everyone I know with a Mac says they're amazing so I took a chance and I love it! So light, easy to carry around campus. Resolution is amazing, battery lasts forever and I love that the keys light up in the dark.

The laptop's graphics and processing power made it so easy to edit and play videos. I love the retina display it is easy on the eyes. (I set brightness setting at 50% most of the time). Having previous MacBooks in the past, this laptop to me has a better ergonomics than the previous models. The battery life last longer than I expected even when I'm multitasking. It is great tool for amateurs and professionals.

I didn't need a fancy Apple laptop - I only use my laptop to do very simple basic things like check my emails, create some documents, surf the web, etc. Any of the cheaper ones by Ienovo, ASUS, or Acer would've done the job, but I wanted to go with Apple because I already have an iPhone, iPod, iPad, and my previous laptop was a MacBook Pro. I traded in my old MacBook so I could use the credit towards this new MBA. In the end, I paid about ~$600, which I think is a pretty decent price for MBA. I absolutely love my new MBA - the size, the operating system, the design, and the price. I don't think I would have gotten it if it was $1,000 though.

I bought this Macbook Air to replace my 2008 Macbook Pro, which died a poor and painful death. I was reluctant to purchase an Air, as I had gotten so accustomed to the feel and abilities of my Pro. And quite honestly, I don't do a lot of high powered applications- not a graphic designer or in need of a Pro...so, I shudder to say, I originally bought a Dell- reasoning that all I do is blog and journal and use it to surf the net, Pinterest, FB and so on. I mean, c'mon- Macs are way more expensive than Windows laptops... I tried to love it...and then I tried to like it...tried to make it work-- i hated it. So finally after 2 weeks, I took it back to Best Buy. They were awesome! Made me a deal on the software that I had already bought and installed on the Dell, so that I could get comparable software for the Air. From the moment I took it out of the box, I was in love! It is exactly what I needed. It felt like coming home, after using my Pro for 7 years and then trying to get used to a Windows based machine...it was blissful. I still wake up each morning and happy I bought it! Even tho' it was $500 more than the Dell, it is SO worth it! Very happy!

This laptop is thin, light, and has incredible battery life. The only thing it doesn't have is a high resolution screen. If the retina screen is a deal breaker for you, this is not your laptop. Otherwise, no other laptop comes close to its combination of build quality, weight, and usability.
