Very pleased with the purchase of the MacBook Air over the MacBook. The USB-3 ports and the SD card slots are well worth the added weight in the computer. And despite being over a year old in the design cycle, it has a more powerful processor than the newly released MacBook. Battery life is also excellent. Deducting a star for not having the Retina display. It's not terrible, but I would have liked to have that feature. Overall this computer seems to be a more useful portable computer than the MacBook. Not sure how it will hold up 5 years from now

My MacBook Air is seriously the best laptop I've ever owned. I've always been a PC user, but the MacBook is just so quick and powerful, as well as light and portable that I will probably never go back to PC after this. LOVE IT!

My son needed a laptop for school, so we decided to go with a Apple MacBook Air. We were looking at a few other laptops but at the end decided to go with Apple. It works better than other laptops and the price was even better. The laptop is also really light. The battery life is great!!!

Exactly what I was looking for in a laptop! I had an older version I'd been using but was ready for an upgrade. I tried switching to a PC but it just didn't compare so I switched back to a Mac and couldn't be happier. This computer is lightweight and so easy to use. Highly recommended.

Portable and easy to use. We have an Apple already but needed a laptop. Our last one (not a MAC) didn't last at all while our MAC outlast all others. Don't think we will be venturing out of Apples reach! Not worth it. We could have almost bought this one for what we paid for the other one!

I am very happy with this purchase. I have always used Windows but purchased a Mac this time. Is very fast and easy to use. Have not had any issues with it and it worked great with my online school program without any issues!!

I have a consulting business and was looking for a light weight laptop to replace the Mac Book laptop that I have had for over eight years. After doing some research and asking some associates what they thought of the Mac Book Air I decided to try one and have been very happy with it.

I am an apple user and my macbook just made me more happier! i love how my iPad and my iPhone all connect with my mac! this computer is super fast and has great battery life! i would recommend this computer to everyone!!!

Got this computer for my dad, who needed something fairly basic to use. Now with a decent processor unlike the original Macbook Air, this is a machine that gets the job done. Paired with a $100 student discount, you can't go wrong with it. But with the inability to swap out the hard drive or upgrade the memory, this machine will be hindered as time goes on. Want something that you can upgrade on your own? See if you can still get your hands out a Macbook Pro with a CD drive and upgrade it yourself to a machine you'll carry with your for years.

I bought this MacBook air to replace a 2007 MacBook and am very happy with it. Love how I didn't have to sacrifice screen size for portability. Great battery life even when I leave it on all day! Would recommend to anyone

I really love the size and weight of the computer. It's very fast, and I can take it everywhere. Since I use it for work it's very convenient.

Definitely great for a new college laptop!! It's very fast and worth the money because my cousin's friend bought this laptop and she's been having it for 5 years!! it still works the same as if she just bought it. It's also very light to carry around college campus without a hassle!

This laptop fits nicely in my backpack. Battery lasts as advertised. Good for multitasking like watching movies and doing office work. I like how the charger end is magnetized to the laptop unit itself, this prevents accidental pulls which can otherwise break the charging port.

I bought this for my sister and she absolutely loves her new laptop. She is a writer and has only used PC products until now, and she says she much prefers her new MacBook Air to the laptops she has used in the past. It is very light and portable, and the battery life is great!

When I got to the store and went to the Apple section, the employee was extremely helpful and guided us through the process. The Air is a fantastic laptop, with great drive speed, portability, and decent performance.

I was nervous about transitioning over to a Mac right before finals but I am very happy that I made this choice! Laptop is very fast and easy to get used to. Since I am a full time student and work full time I am always on the go. It is easy to throw in my bag and run out the door.

I bought the Macbook air after many years of using a PC, which caused a little hesitation in buying it. Now, however, after experiencing the ease of use offered in this computer I'm glad I bought it. The touchpad is awesome. Once I learned all the little shortcuts and changed a few touchpad settings, I found myself enjoying writing papers and doing research, all because it took much less time and was easier on my fingers. Would definitely recommend for college students and those who do a lot of writing/research on the internet.

I never owned a Mac,I love my MacBook it's ultra light stylish just completely amazing !!! Excellent battery life ,I can even charge my phone on my laptop to 100% and still have hours of battery left on my Mac book

This is a great laptop with it's slimline design and lightweight, I hardly know it's sitting on my lap. Of course after coming off of Windows there is a small learning curve but in time it will for sure be my favorite laptop. Too bad all computers couldn't be made like Apple.
