Being a teacher, I need something light and compact to tote between home, school, Starbucks, or wherever I happen to be. The MacBook Air is perfect for the job. Additionally, I love to travel and have VLOG. The ability to pop in my camera's SD card is an added bonus.

Love the Macbook Air. Super light weight and does not get hot during use like the MacBook Pros do. Only complaint is that I am worried that I might break it since it is so light. But, apple makes great products and have yet to have any problems with any of them yet.

I bought this for my wife. She used a windows pc prior to getting this one. This is much lighter and easier to use. She likes to use a mouse with it rather than the touch pad. Other than the fact that some of her games won't work on the Apple computer, she likes it.

I have always owned PCs that have been difficult to use and only lasted 2-3 years. So far my macbook air has been EXTREMELY easy to use and switching my files over went really smooth. I have NO complaints so far. I cannot wait to use my new technology as a teacher.

This computer is wonderful! Its very fast and easy to use. Its the best thing I ever invested my money in. I can watch lots of anime now!! ( I love attack on titan and dragon ball z xD anime ftw ) But I do think that they should provide a case with your purchase.

Lightweight, compact addition to my Mac collection. Needed all my files while traveling and as usual the "sync" with my IMac was seemlessly. I have a lot of music so it would have been better if I had more memory than 256. I couldn't be happier with my ne Mac

I've always been a PC guy. Mac's seemed to confuse me so I never tried. I'm here to tell you, after actually giving it a chance, the Mac is super easy to easy. I love how thin and sleek it is. Screen quality is great. I'd recommend a Mac for anyone. Great buy.

Super lightweight and convenient if you're on the go and yet powerful for all home use. This was an investment but a good one. Glad I've made the switch to Apple.

I purchased the lowest option macbook air. However i have never regretted buying it. It is just a 128gb. I am enough. It is fast enough. If you need more storage so that you can buy SSD card. Thats another option for you if you worry about paying extra dollars.

Had a MacBook Pro to get me through college but it was getting run down so I decided to try the MacBook Air and I couldn't be happier. Better performance with a more sleek and transportable design than the Pro. Haven't found one thing I dislike about the Air!

Bought my Mackbook Air for school (finally) after my pc died a few years ago. I couldn't be happier. Fast, light, workhorse for normal school things , and overall a great machine. The battery life is amazing; I recently spent 7 hours working on a paper and battery was still at 53% Now this machine is not for those who need a ton of computing power (macbook pro) but fits the needs of a standard student (not IT, Graphic Design major, etc. ) perfect.

My daughter has a Mac with Retina display and loves hers. I don't use a computer as often as she does, but I needed a sturdy laptop that isn't too heavy and will last a good while. It's a great computer with a great picture, I'm very happy with my purchase!

I can honestly say that my MacBook is the best computer for a college student. It is small and fits in backpacks easily. I use it for everything even for my personal use. Connecting your phone to it is also a great idea. My whole life is all in one device.

Much faster than the 4.5 year-old one I recently trashed (liquid spilled into the keyboard!!)...much improved OS/X over Yosemite. Also much longer battery life...I'd guess 10 hours at least. Maybe more spendy than Windows laptops, but will NEVER go back

I needed something portable and switched from a Mac mini. I hated to give up the desktop platform, but with this machine, I haven't noticed any difference, and now I have the capability to take everything with me when I travel. Highly recommend this unit.

I mainly purchased this laptop to use in school because I knew it would be light to carry. For purposes of just school work, it runs pretty fast, and the battery lasts a long time, so it's perfect!

Purchased this for my 14 year old daughter, for high school and homework. It is easy to use, very light weight and durable

I purchased the MacBook Air after hearing rave reviews from friends who own MacBooks and I haven't been disappointed. Amazing camera. great speed and all around easy to use. Would highly recommend it to students or anyone who needs a lightweight laptop.

After owning PC's my whole life, I decided to try out a Mac. I wanted something that will last for a long time. I am very pleased with what I bought and am looking forward to the use I will get out of this new computer. The best part is the battery life!
