I love how lightweight this laptop is. I use it for a mobile business that mostly requires spreadsheets and documents. I can do everything I need and the handoff feature with the other Apple products is so convenient.

Speed is great and it isn't a difficult to use as I thought it might be. Still need to take a class or two to been a more proficient user. Converting from Word has been a challenge; nothing to do with the Mac though.

My daughter loves this computer. It is light and does an excellent job of picking up the internet quickly on campus. Battery life has been very good as she has been letting it get as low as possible before recharging

This laptop has incredible battery life and is super portable. The SSD read/write times are pretty quick compared to the older models. Hopefully the Retina version comes this year and this laptop will be complete.

We needed a laptop with long battery life for college use and this one fit the bill. This is the 1st Mac Laptop after many PC's and even though I am not a big Mac fan, this one is a good lightweight work machine.

Awesome laptop very light weight and go anywhere. Easy to use and if you don't know how to do somethings because like myself have always had Windows PC, you can goggle anything and figure it out. Love love love it!

My daughter and I went and 'test drove' all the latest Apple products when it was time for a new computer for her. It's light weight, has long battery life and the keyboard is nice. It's a perfect college computer!

This is a great laptop so far. It is fast, portable and lightweight. It took me a while getting used to, since this is my first Mac, but it wasn't too hard. I would definitely recommend this laptop to my friends.

Really happy with this purchase and change from prior computer brands I used. Fast processing with I5 Core and flash drive memory. Light to handle and move around. Great looking and love the back light keyboard.

I am not apple fan though; I bought the MacBook for my daughter and I used I for a couple of days I have to say that it is amazing. It is fast, light and the interface with IPhone is excellent; strongly recommended.

First time Mac owner. It was an easy transition. It is slim, trim, light weight and, for a small screen, is very easy to see the screen. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm so sorry I waited so long to get a Mac.

The MacBook is different that the usual pc but after making some adjustments it turns out to be an excellent product. Fast, great screen, light and secure. I would say SECURE is the key word. Highly recommended.

He loves this - light weight and perfect computer. He is able to put in his backpack to take from class to dorm and it's doesn't weigh him down :) Great addition for his college work and to watch shows on the go

Great machine. I got the machine for college and it is working really good. great speed and excellent quality of material. feels great in my hands. and well it is an Apple device, trust me, you can rely in it.

Love this laptop much more than my old Lenovo. Sleek, lightweight, no problems so far. Pretty fast, too. Took a little time to learn all the shortcuts but very easy if you knew the Windows shortcuts beforehand.

Cannot go wrong with apple products always realiable. My last MacBook Pro lasted me 5 years and worked fine until then. Love the interface! Apple never fail to disappoint would never go back to a windows product!

All the advertisement on this is true. Great Graphics, great built in speakers - as to the battery life, it like all day long. I am enjoying my MacBook. I love that it is so thin and light-take all around with me.

This is actually my second MAC. My first MAC - a 2008 iMAC 20 that I posted this review with - is getting very tired. I was thinking about another MAC, but the cost of them held me back. As it turned out, I saw this MacBook Air as an "open box" for a reachable price. When I went to look at this MacBook Air, all I saw was a few very minor scuff marks on it. That did not matter to me. I bought it and I can report to you that this MacBook Air is faster and smoother operating than my iMAC ever was. Don't let the processor speed rating and the SSD capacity fool you. Both are very satisfactory. The MAC system isn't "perfect". Yet, for my needs I am very impressed with MACs. This MacBook Air keeps me impressed and is better than my "old" desktop.

This laptop turns on instantly, has an extremely long battery life, and easy to carry around. I appreciate the backlit keyboard as well, and overall it's very nice looking. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This laptop is exactly what I was looking for. It's fast and fashionable. I love the style. It fits easily into my bag. I'm only scared of knocking it off the table because it's so light. But overall, it's great.
