I bought this Product after having a simple "acer" brand laptop and it was such an upgrade. I love everything about it. Lightweight. Nice looking. And it has everything I need for school and work.

It's fast, functional, and has all the great qualities you come to expect from Apple. Great price also, when I purchased it on sale. It's very light and at least for now, the battery life is great.

I have been using windows on all my computers for the past decade. This was not my first apple product, but it was my first Mac. The computer came with very nice packaging (foam on the lid, various seals that show that the device was likely not open after it was sent to the store). The build quality of the device is really good and feels really nice. Using the laptop, although not as productive and "work oriented" than a windows computer, feels very fun and attractive, and things like the nice trackpad and decent keyboard make the experience really nice. The base model has enough processing power to run a decent amount of tabs (around 6 or so, depending on how heavy each one is of course) and the computer fan starts to run when attempting to do things that take a bit more power, e.g. playing hearthstone, and multitasking is a little bit limiting with 4gb of ram, but it is still fine to use. Although it clearly is not made as a value oriented computer, its simpler to pick up compared to a windows computer and overall gives a fun aspect to using the device itself, which is found a lot in smaller devices like a tablet or a phone, where you just want to use it. Obviously, this device has many flaws. The biggest problem I had was actually the tapered edge (meaning, the sides come in from thick to thin, where the thick part is away from you) so that when i tried to use the computer lying down, the weight of the computer shifts a lot towards the very slim part, and from basic physics a smaller area with the same force produces greater pressure. It was quite annoying to have the computer press against me like that, but that's probably never been an issue for anyone else. The screen was not as terrible as many others claim, although it was clear that most of my other technology had better screens than this one. I find that the glossy like screen made it much more enjoyable when viewing movies, etc. than my matte display. Whenever the laptop woke up from sleep, the wifi took a bit of time before connecting back to a router; this is likely to save the battery but it was a little bit annoying to deal with. I think most people would prefer to keep wifi on while the computer is sleeping. Overall, this is a pretty decent computer. If you are looking for a computer that will actually do work, you should likely consider different windows computers that tend to focus more on the computer performance and usefulness with windows instead of polishing the user experience with os x.

The apple computer is a beautiful piece of equipment. It is quick. Very easy to use. it stores my data. The detail on changing picutres is a good feature. I use it for my applications. Thank You

Great product! It's lightweight and super fast. We got this for our son to take to college and since he is always on the move the Mac fits his lifestyle. We have decided to get Mac for ourselves.

I bought this macbook air because I cracked the screen on the one I owned for the past 5 years :-( It still ran well and I had no issues with it, but the cracked screen was bothering me. I looked into getting a pc, but nothing compares to a mac. I know this one will last until I do something stupid to break it. There's no way a pc would last 5 years without slowing down & no antivirus software. I use to have to buy a new pc every 1.5 to 2 years because they would drastically slow down and technology kept improving. Buy a mac and you'll never go back. Now that you can get Microsoft Office or just use iworks and convert files to office files & pdfs, there's no reason to buy a pc.

A great computer with ease of viewing type and graphics. Battery life always exceeds a days use. Sound is good and makes for easy movie viewing. Its all I will ever need in a laptop computer.

Great laptop, very thin and versetile. This is my first Mac so it took a bit getting used to but definitely worth the switch from a Microsoft operating system. Absolutely amazing battery life!

Not every Apple computer on the market right now is great, let's be honest. That said, this was one if the best purchases I've made. Don't let the middle-of-the-pack specs fool you; this machine takes good advantage of its components. Sound is great. Can play new games on medium settings, but it will also age well too. Only complaint thus far is that it doesn't have the best accessory support in terms of cases and screen protectors. It seems like a lot of otherwise great brands of protective components fell short with this model. That's not Apple's fault so it doesn't lose a star for that. This model likes to go on sale a lot too, so look for it while it is on sale.

The MacBook Air met all of my computing needs at a great price. I like the light weight of the laptop and great battery life. I'm happy that I purchased the MacBook Air versus the MacBook Pro.

Girlfriend is not a power user by any means, so the Macbook Air is perfect for her vs the Macbook Pro. Nice and lightweight with long lasting battery. Exactly what she wanted for Christmas!

You simply cannot go wrong with a MacBook Air. Massive battery power with the capability of a full size Mac, but the portability of an iPad. I love it! It's perfect for my writing and research.

Its really light i know people have written about it but i always thought that its overrated until i got one myself and believe me it is indeed light and awesome performance wise as well.

This is my second MacBook. I've had my other MacBook for 10+ years. It still works fine, but this MacBook Air is bigger, faster and more amazing. Haven't had a problem yet. Highly recommend!

It's Apple macbook. What else to add to that? Leaves up to its name. Absolutely wonderful laptop, lightweight, long battery life, stylish, fast. Works as expected. Happy with my purchase.

This is my first Apple MacBook Air. I am a former HP User and Windows Explore was always my browser. The first day with the Mac was horrible!! In fact, the net day I went back to Best Buy with the intention of returning the Mac for an HP. However, the rep from Apple was in the store and he gave me a crash course on the Apple Mac. After an hour, I felt much more comfortable with the Mac. I still have a lot to learn but an very happy with the Mac.

I bought this as a gift, but have a Mac Book Pro with similar specs. It is the first Mac I have owned, so it takes some getting used to. My Mac Book is fast and has beautiful graphics, but RAM cannot be expanded, and it could use a bigger HD. If you are switching from Windows and use Quicken, like I did, you'll have to go through serious contortions to get it running on a Mac.

I bought this for my daughter who is going away to college this fall. It is slim and light weight and she loves it. It has plenty of memory and is very fast. Plus we got a student discount!

I'm very happy with the Macbook , this is my first Apple Laptop and I don't know why I waited so long , being an Ipad and iphone user this is the way to go , The macbook is light and fast.
