I'm a college student. Battery life lasts long, I can probably go 3 or 4 days without charging. When the laptop does need charging, it charges super fast which is convenient. I don't do much with the laptop, I only use it for notes and homework so I'm aware I could have gotten a different laptop to do the same functions for a third of the macbook price... but I'm using a pc laptop to type this review right now and i can assure you I will never want to switch back to pc ever again.

Fast and furious. Replaced my 2011 model that was chocking in 2G of RAM. Works with no issues .Thank you, Time Machine.

This is a perfect laptop for basic email and web browsing! I only want to do very minimal browsing and organizing of photos, this does fine. Upgrade to the 8GB model for editing photos or doing any more intense work, like Word, Excel, Photos, Pages, Keynote, etc... The extra RAM makes a world of difference, splurge for the i7 processor or the MacBook Pro series if you need more power.

Mabook air is really a good tool. It is beautiful, light, fast. It works 2-3 days after charged. I like it very much.

Great performance and super thin and lightweight. A no brainer purchase when looking for a laptop for everyday use.

Its basically the same as using an ipad but in a computerized way. some things may get confusing but are easily resolved especially if you are experienced in using other computers of apple or basically any apple device. It works great, no problems. When i was deciding what sort of laptop to get, i probably pondered this question a lot: apple or windows with touch screen? I thought about this for a year. Previously i used windows but not touch screen and that laptop broke before a year was up and I really didn't appreciate the scare of viruses and malware. I ended up getting apple because touch screen...use a tablet like the ipad and apple was the best decision since i'm not good with computers and apple technically won't get viruses and it lasts long especially for such a big investment. The only thing was i got this at the store and you don't get a free internet security package like it said online. so far, so good.

It's simple, light weight and great for school! I was a bit hesitant with th memory but I've had no problem with it.
