The MacBook Air is an excellently designed laptop. Sure there can be qualms because it doesn't have the retina display, but the screen is still very beautiful. Laptop is light and captures the aesthetics of Apple products. Boots up quickly and an awesome upgrade for anyone who wants a light, powerful machine.

Bought this MacBook Air to replace and old, white MacBook that my father had, which was breaking apart and making odd noises. My father has been happy with his MacBook Air and is mainly used for basic web browsing, YouTube, checking email, eBills, etc. The most intensive work that is done is making greeting cards using Print Shop Pro that my father does every now and then. Overall, it has been a great replacement to what was an old Apple device my dad add. Plus, the ability to Boot Camp to partition part of the hard drive to run Windows is a great feature. If there is something that cannot be ran on the Mac side, having the ability to boot into windows is an advantage. It is almost like buying a 2-in-1 computer. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have had a Macbook Air since 2011 and love it. I work with Windows daily and would never buy a Windows OS Laptop for my family. Never have any issues with my OS X and bought this for my wife who was really hard to turn to Apple, but she absolutely loves it. I love all the software that comes on it, the weight, etc. I do not even use my iPad anymore. This is the best laptop out there.

I recently purchased the 13.3 inch MacBook Air for my mother. She has always been a PC user, and was never the most "computer-savy" person but she has taken to it like a fish to water. I give credit in full to the representative at the Best Buy where we purchased the MacBook. He went over some of the nice feature associated with owning a Mac and my mom has been a fan of the product since.

I was always a windows person until I made this purchase. The representative really made it clear to me what the pros and cons were for having a MacBook or a windows based laptop. My battery lasts a great amount of time and it takes little time for things to boot up. I have only had my mac book for a short amount of time but so far am in love with it. It's a perfect fit for my needs.
