Excellent Laptop

I'm not new to using Apple computers, so it's no surprise to me that this laptop works very well. I am a little surprised with how fast it is. I also got it at a sale price: an excellent purchase!

Very Good MacBook at a good price.

It is super thin and lightweight but is somehow bigger overall than the MacBook Pro Retina. The thing that is the biggest flaw is the non retina screen. When comparing it to the MacBook pro Retina or new Macbook the screen is light years behind. Overall a good solid computer especially for college kids but would rather have the retina screen of the MacBook Pro Retina or MacBook.

I purchased an Apple laptop a few years ago, and was so pleased with the performance, I bought another one. I haven't been disappointed in the way it performs as well. I only use the computer for general things like couponing, corresponding via email, web searches, etc., and it does exactly what I bought it for. Very fast for what I use it for.

Great substitute for Windows

My wife has been using Mac for years, and has never had one problem. My last Asus died after two years. I then bought a Dell. Junk. I bought the Mac and have loved it ever since. Still learning all the new things that come with it. Great investment.

slick unit for personal computing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My youngest broke the charging port on her windows based laptop and one slick feature on macbooks is the magnetic charger port...you do not want to have to open up, remove and resolder a new port like i did. My daughter also uses the apple iOS eco system so having a macbook offers a logical synergy between devices. She is pleased with the thin light durable design.

Great Laptop
