I love my new Mac. It's light, fast and actually goes all day on a full charge. My old laptop was dead in 2-3 hrs but this will easily do 6+ with normal use.

The macbook air is a great computer to carry on you without weighing you down. It is fast, easy to use, and very durable. I wouldn't choose any other computer and will stick to a macbook air from now on. If you want a great browsing computer than this is for you!

If you're looking for the best portable computer to accomplish 95% of the work that you would actually do on a laptop--this is it. Amazing fit and finish, quality, battery life, and performance in the areas of normal usage-->word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, web surfing/web apps and research. The screen resolution, CPU, RAM, and GPU aren't the greatest or up to "benchmark" in my opinion (1080, quad core, 8 GB, discrete graphics), BUT my question is, do you really need those things? Outside of the screen resolution, the other aspects are not readily apparent by the performance of OSX, which is snappy and responsive by launching apps quickly and allowing me to operate many applications and multiple browser tabs with ease. If I were were to purchase this computer again I would option for the 8 GB of RAM. The nail in the coffin that makes this the best option as a laptop is the price point, which is now well under a thousand. The MacBook Pro might very well be a more impressive machine than the Air, but it's almost half as cheap and offers a significant boost in battery life and portability.

After buying new laptops and PCs every 2-3 years, I decided to try this after hearing from friends that they last a lot longer. Took about 2 weeks to figure out exactly how it worked but I'm a convert now. Plus I like that everything now syncs with my phone. Battery has a long life, the laptop itself is super light yet sturdy, and the controls are terrific. No complaints at all about this one.

Finally up-graded after hanging on to my old HP Pavilion lap-top for 10 years, but I like to invest in my tech not change it out every 6 months. The MacBook Air is just incredible: so light weight, slim line and easily portable. Elegant in function and design. Quick start up, easy to use and connects with my iPhone & iPad. Love this lap-top! Oh and thanks for $100 off too! Worthwhile investment.

I love this laptop. It starts up instantly. Its battery lasts for at least two days (and as a student I use it a lot, in case you're wondering). The screen is clear. The backlit keyboard is great. It is thinner than most of my paper notebooks. And it weighs less than most of them to. Apple did an amazing job.

I was on the fence about getting a mac for almost a year. Then in December a really great deal came around in addition to the student coupon and I saved almost $300. The performance is great. The speed is amazing. I was worried about the transition from pc to mac but it was a very smooth switch. Honestly just get it. Just make sure you get a mac with more than enough space!!!

The MacBook Air 13'' is thin and light so it is easy to carry. It also has 5th generation Intel Core processors, many built-in apps, and has long battery life.

This is the perfect laptop for my needs, which are mostly school, work and regular internet use. After years of using PC's, I finally decided to make the switch. Macbooks are a little pricey, but well worth it. This laptop is fast, easy to use and has a sleek design that makes it easy to transport.

This is a lightweight laptop perfect for students who don't need a lot of hard drive storage. It's easy to carry around, performs well, and is a more affordable alternative to Windows than most Macs. We are in the process of switching everyone in the family to Macs and both of my college students have this computer; I have the same one in the 11" for traveling and I love it.

I have owned many Apple products before. I currently had a Mac mini and I needed something portable that I could take to and from college. I ended up with this mac book air and love it! So light weight, really fast, and it was cheaper at Best Buy then Apple! 13" screen was perfect size also.

Great laptop for day to day use. The processor powers through daily tasks with ease and with pages included you can get away without buying office if you need to write basic letters. It's lightweight and very durable. You will actually enjoy using your computer when you purchase this laptop!

I purchased this product after deciding to go for a Mac over the usual Windows products that I'm used to. Costs a bit more than the alternative, but is well worth it. Was one of the best decisions I ever made! I love the ease of use and the fact that it syncs up with my iPhone. Battery life is great and the graphics look spectacular. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This MacBook Air was purchased as a supplement to an iPad. If you sometimes need a computer instead of just a tablet, the Air is an excellent choice. It's very lightweight, has good battery life and is considered a "normal" computer (as opposed to mobile device) by websites when you use a web browser. The biggest reason for choosing an Apple laptop over a Windows computer is that Apple products simply work. I was a software developer for 25 years, working mostly on Microsoft systems. I got so fed up with having to deal with the constant updates, driving installations and general problems that come with running Windows.

Great laptop for travel and internet browsing. Very light and fast and quiet. Excellent battery life. Apple really thought about this product and made it excellent. Nothing on the market right now comes close to touching this in terms of performance. Paid 715 with tax for this. Great deal.

This is my third macbook and it certainly won't be my last. I have a macbook pro and this macbook air gives me added portability that I just don't have with any other computer. Its light and gets the job done and the battery life is amazing! This mac is the best value in the macbook line and is great for students or anyone that is getting their very first mac.

It's light weight, beautiful design. Battery is good for day. Processing speed is ok for me. If you want a fast speeding laptop, I suggest to try other Macs like Mac Pro. This laptop is not faster than my old Sony Vio with i3 processor chip. But I got a very good deal on this laptop.

I love the mac air that i bought because it has a good battery life since i can use it for ~2days without charging it with browsing and typing,light weight and has a big screen,and it was discounted for around $150.For me this is really a great buy and just about right for my needs.
