I have been looking for a laptop that is so easy to use and lightweight. I love the operating system and the resolution of the screen. The laptop comes with all the features I need to create word, excel, and powerpoint documents. If you are an apple user, everything is connected through airdrop, icloud, and any apps you use daily. I love this laptop.

I love my MacBook, it boots incredibly fast, includes everything I could want from a laptop I use for college and runs rock solid. If you're in the market for a laptop for school that you will lug around a lot, this is a solid option. It costs a bit more than a similarly spec'd PC, but the build quality, battery life and weight more than make up for it.

I have been a apple user for quite some time now. I have had the macbook pro, and decided to switch to the Macbook Air in part because I have an iPad that I take as a traveling computer. The Air is a great computer for anybody that is doing simple tasks like web surfing, work processing, etc. I would highly recommend any Apple product to everyone.

I wouldn't try to push this system into high-end gaming, but for a study tool, it's perfect! Great size for putting in a backpack, not too small to read the screen (the 11in was too small for me to consider using it to write lengthy research papers without relying on an external monitor), and still brings all the things we love about macs to the table.

The Mac Books Air proved to be an asset for my daughter's college education. The compact size and light weight, combined with the memory and speed proved to be valuable features. A good acquisition, I recommend this product.

This was my first laptop from Apple, but I have used PCs a lot before. I've used my dad's Mac and Macs at my school for years so I wasn't completely new to the OS X interface. I do have an iPhone and have used other Apple products such as the iPod. The integration between my Macbook Air and my iPhone through services such as iCloud, AirDrop, Wi-Fi Sync (iTunes), etc. is amazing. This functionality is one reason why I decided to buy a Mac over a PC. It's very useful to see the pictures you took this morning appear right on your computer ready to be edited. Also, when I'm not around my iPhone, seeing all the texts and calls that I get on my Mac make it a lot easier to connect with others and a lot faster as well. For any iPhone user whose personal laptop is a PC, I really recommend looking into the features of a Mac and see how the phone that you already use so often can sync with your computing, and make your overall experience more productive and more fun!

While I debated either getting a MacBook Air or a MacBook Pro I felt that the MacBook Air was the way to go. This laptop is fast and the battery life is amazing. After going Mac you can never go back. The screen isn't retina but it's still crystal clear. Best Buy always have sales so make sure to grab a super deal on this amazing laptop! MacBook Air 2015

My son had another laptop that wasn't a Mac and all I could hear from the other room while he was doing his homework were yelling out of frustration at the laptop because it would freeze or didn't work at all. Since he has had the Mac, it's been pretty quiet during homework.

purchase was for my niece who just began college. as an iphone user she was partial to a macbook and wanted the smaller air, so after weighing the pros and cons of a smaller, more costly laptop with her, i went to the best buy in eastlake - customer service was great, were very helpful. six weeks in and she's happy with her macbook air - she's able to get her assignments done and appreciates its lightness which makes for easy portability. speaking of which, would have rated the product five stars, but the price just seems high for what you get in size - i guess a generation of eyes constantly in an iphone screen must feel like a 13" display is more than adequate.
