This laptop is fast, I meant super fast. Only takes 10 seconds to start comparing to windows takes at least 5 mins. It is also thin and light. Great for students or people who travel a lot. It's my third computer from apple. I will never go back to window based computer again except at work. Plus apple don't get virus like windows do. Highly recommended

We got this computer for our middle schooler. It was his first NEW computer and he loves it!!! Light and sturdy! Easy to take to and from school. Does everything he needs and more. I have several MacPro laptops that are 5-6 years old and they are still working like new. Hopefully we get through High School with this one too!!! Well worth it!!!

My daughter didn't want a Mac as she was not familiar in navigating on anything other than a PC. By day two she declared how perfect it was and is going to be for college. Simply said, the computer is easy to navigate, light, quick and just overall exceeded all expectations.

Since I wanted a second laptop I decided to go with a MacBook Air. I have a Dell XPS 11 which is a "2 in 1" running Win 8.1 so now I have my toes dipped in both major OS pools. I have become accustomed to using the touch screen on the Dell so I find myself tapping the screen or attempting to scroll with my finger on this Air. I kinda smile to myself each time. I guess it's gonna be like driving in San Francisco on Monday, London on Tuesday, L.A. on Wednesday and Liverpool on Thursday. The Air is speedy, light and stylish. It is a lifestyle computing product that fits my wants and needs. Catching the $150 savings made it a much easier choice than before.

With a graceful balance of Power/Performance, Size, Usability, Lightness and Battery life this may be the ultimate laptop for most people. The quality of workmanship and materials is unmatched in the industry and with prices dropping, makes it accessible to more people. Best Buy had the best price on a deal of the day. Well worth it!

This is my first Mac. It was really easy to set up and configure to my Wi-Fi and printer. (I am not very computer savvy and basically use them for the internet and occasional word processing). I have an iPhone and iPad and my Macbook Air easily connected/interfaced to them. The computer is light and does not get hot/warm like my old windows laptop. I also really like the back-lit keyboard. The programs and desktop take a little getting used to, as it is different than using Windows. In all honesty, I disliked Windows XP. I am not a fan of the tile/app configuration, I thought that it was difficult to use. I also like the fact that the Macbook doesn't require extra anti-virus software. It seems like my previous laptops were always having issues with malware/viruses. Overall, I am very pleased with this computer. I really like the ease of connectivity of all of my Apple products and would recommend any of them.

My new Mac Book Air is much faster than I thought it might be. I am a heavy Adobe CC user and it works very well. It's a huge improvement to the weight of my old 17" MacBook Pro, too. I would recommend this computer. It's the right price and performs really well. It would also be a great computer for someone who hasn't had a Mac before.

So far so good. This MacBook is Awsome! Performance is great, better than expected. Very light. Battery life is easily over eight hours. I bought this during a sale for $799.00. I consider it pricey, but your paying for the brand name. I really like this and was told if I did I'd Love the MacBook Pro. Seriously considering it now.

I decided to switch from PC to Mac after my 3 year old HP laptop stopped working. I needed something reliable and fast for college, and this computer is both of these things. The battery has been lasting for close to two days, and the laptop seems to be durable. The switch from PC to Mac was also a lot easier than I expected.

There are no words to describe how much I absolutely love my MacBook Air! It is light, super fast and easy to use (never used a Mac before). The help tips in the search bar are explained in such a way that makes it simple to understand! Absolutely recommend it!

First Mac I've owned. Absolutely love it. Took some time getting used to but I couldn't imagine owning anything else. The solid state technology is great. Open the laptop and it's ready to go. Speed of the processor is great. Light, compact, easy to take with you. I love this computer. Will be a Mac person from now on

This replaced my previous Macbook, and there are so many great improvements! The most obvious to me is how long a charge now lasts. I get much longer use on a charge than my old one. And I was so surprised at how cool the back of the Air stays when used. The old one got hot! Speed is good, and graphics are great.

Ive been a PC guy since my highschool year ans this is the first time im buying apple laptop, so far i dont have any regrets, its kinda all in one product , the macbook is fast and smooth, apps are good and easy to use, its stylish , thin and light. I would highly recommend this product especially for the students.

My wife loves this computer. It's light and runs great. The only issue I have experienced was her not closing out a bunch of applications and causing the memory to become overloaded. I had to force a shutdown but the machine is running great again. I would go get myself one but my 15" MacBook Pro still runs great.

Though I waited for a deal, this laptop is a great bang for the buck. I'm an IT engineer and generally don't use Mac's but I purchased this for my wife and it operates much more smoother than my Windows laptops with similar features and specs. It is incredibly light, convenient and the charge lasts forever.

Once again Apple did a great job. Love my mac. The Mac Air is so easy to use and I love the fact that it is so lightweight. The battery life is also very good. I can go all day thru classes and not have to charge the battery. With other laptops I have owned I was always looking for the desk near the plug ins.

I got the MBA to better connect with my work computer. For work, it gets the job done with a slick touchpad, great screen size, and long battery life. However, it is definitely slower than my friend's macbook pro or my work desktop, and when I try to run too many apps the limitation of 4gb of ram is sorely felt. However, it is still a great deal for the money (I got it for $750), although if you have more the macbook pro would probably last longer before feeling outdated.

Excellent laptop. Snappy, light. Everything you'd want in a laptop at a good price. You can get cheaper, higher performing, thinner, or lighter laptops, but the MBA has just enough in each category to make it nearly perfect. It's not too expensive, generally snappy, and thin and light enough for daily use.

I purchased this computer as an open box discount. This was fine until I got it home and noticed it didn't come with all the apps it was supposed to. (I specifically needed Pages and it was not installed) I went back to best buy to return it and was told I had to get the apps via a website using my proof of purchase. I tried that. Didn't work. It wasn't until I called the friendly Apple folks that I was able to get the apps I needed. Best buy staff gets a big thumbs down for their service on that one. HOWEVER, once getting the computer up and running with all the apps, it's been incredible. Holds a battery charge longer than any laptop I've ever had. Easy to use and navigate as well.

I am in love with my MacBook Air. It is very light and is easy to place in my bag and carry with me throughout the day. The software on the computer makes it very user friendly. The battery life is excellent and lasts throughout the day in class. I would recommend this laptop for any college student.
