Your paying for the name. I bought the Mac book air, it is lighter and smaller, however, its still not worth the price. I could have bought the pad vs. the laptop and would have met my needs. I do like the convenience of having a laptop though.

I love this computer and ended up purchasing it from Apple with more speed and more space. Unfortunately my experience was Best Buy was not good on my initial purchase, I brought my computer and everything in to ensure I didn't run out of space and they all said it would be plenty of space, then I go to transfer files and my old computer files wouldn't fit on the new computer and instead of apologizing initially they suggested I just carry around an external hard drive. Luckily when it was determined that was not realistic they made the return easy and were all very nice, they were never ugly just to eager to sell me a laptop as oppose to listening to what I needed.

My mother has been having issues with her windows based computers, so I gifted her a macbook. It was easy to teach and learn and she loves being able to use facetime and imessage.

This is my second MacBook from Best Buy and I couldn't be happier. The price was just right, I did shop around and couldn't beat the deal. I had it delivered to my home and love it.

A 5 star product. Quality comes with a higher price tag but absolutely worth it. I believe that getting the largest available memory is also a good investment in the long term.

Only a lightweight in weight-really fast and see big improvement over 3 year old macbook pro
